I've recently started using m old Sony NEX-6 digital SLR for backpacking because it is very light (especially with a pancake lens) and takes much better photos than my cell phone. Problem was that the digital display is difficult to use in the sun so I end up using the eye piece. Often sunlight coming in from the side made using the eye piece difficult too. This inexpensive Viewfinder Eyecup does the job! It's soft and blocks out the sun. Highly recommend it!!

Fits my sony a6000 perfectly. It's a nice snug fit, Doesn't fall off. It was a breeze to put on, as you can imagine. Very comfortable on my eye too. I also used it with glasses on and it was still comfortable. I think it covers a tiny side portion of the viewfinder's sensor but it doesn't effect the performance. I'm very satisfied.

Seems as good as the OEM version. No issues and work as expected.

Fits my Sony a6000. Wish it was a little deeper, still have to cup my left hand between camera and face when outside.

Good quality and cost-effectiveness Many online retailers sell plastic products. I think I will try this eyepiece and trust the products produced by this company. It's cheap but the quality is very good After ordering, I was worried what if the quality was bad until it arrived to me. However, I am very satisfied with the eyepiece.

Eye Cup fits good with a tight snap retention and doesn't fall off easily. Excellent replacement for factory unit and soft enough to be pressed against eye glasses without scratching.

It simply works.

Purtroppo la conchiglia dell'oculare è facile da perdere perchè può staccarsi, soprattutto quando si mette e toglie la macchina dalla borsa o la si tiene a tracolla. Ne ho già perse un paio in questo modo. La macchina si può usare anche senza conchiglia, ma io, che uso gli occhiali, corro il rischio di graffiare le lenti, per cui preferisco averne una di ricambio nella borsa della macchina fotografica. Il ricambio originale ha un costo maggiore, questa lo sostituisce egregiamente e costa meno.

I lost the original Sony eyepiece whilst travelling recently, and knowing that the official Sony replacement is absurdly overpriced (£17, last I checked) I went on a little hunt for some cheaper alternatives, landing on this JJC one, mainly because the price for two is excellent and the soft, pliable silicone material the hood is made from, like the original Sony one. These two are packaged nicely by JJC and have a inspection/date card as well as well as a serial number included. I would say the eyepieces are basically as good as the Sony original I lost, and they snap onto the viewfinder nicely, with no wiggle. The silicone makes for a comfortable fit around the eye – it's like I never lost the original! Very impressed, and I think the price point is great.

zdecydowanie nie miękki, raczej nie silikonowy, jeśli chodzi o twardość i gabaryty to dokładnie taki sam produkt jak oryginalny Sony, trochę tylko gorzej wykonany, widoczne pozostałości po wlewce na wtryskarce. W żaden sposób nie jest lepszy od oryginalnej muszli, nie poprawił w najmniejszym stopniu komfortu. Wyrzucony pieniądz. Nie polecam.
