I bought this toilet seat about 3 months ago and have left it this long to write a review. We are a “bigger” family, all of us are on the heavier side so some toilet seats don’t last very long, just a few months. This one is different however. After 3 months, it’s looks identical to the day I fitted it. It’s exceptionally durable, heavyweight and sturdy. It has soft closing of both the seat and the lid so no trapped fingers which considering the weight, is a good thing. You can remove the seat for cleaning which is handy. The instructions for fitting were clear and easy to follow. It comes with good quality, non-slip fittings which have lasted 3 months so far without having to be tightened up, brilliant. It’s easy to adjust while fitting, I managed it myself. It’s a very stable seat, it doesn’t move at all while you are sitting down or standing, or while seated. It’s slightly more expensive than some but you get what you pay for, this is really good quality and I expect it to last several years.

Fitting was surprisingly easy. Item works and looks good for the most part. There is a chip on the very front of my seat, where you can clearly see the white plastic under the faux-wood coating. Most people probably won't notice it, but it's all I see when I look at the seat. I would return for replacement but in my situation it's too much effort. I could not find any other avenue to contact seller to at least mention, hence minus one star from my review. I'm trying to figure out ways to patch it up myself.
