I'm really happy with this set. All but 1 of the colors is up to the high standards of the Beetles polish that I know. The dark purple color (222) was slightly clumpy, but not severely so. Still totally usable. The colors are saturated and opaque. They all cure solidly after 60 seconds with no tackiness. Each swatch shows 2 coats. These are smaller than your typical polish bottles, but for the price I think it's an excellent value. I mainly bought this set for the yellow, which is the perfect bright shade that I've been looking for forever! I did one swatch with 2 coats of yellow, and another swatch with 1 coat of white, then 1 coat of this yellow. The white base makes it even more bright and opaque, I love it!

These are one of the few battles sets that are really good quality and have lasted a long time. These are super good and so pretty

Edit 2023: Beetles was my favorite gel polish brand. But about 6 months into using them, after buying a pretty sizable collection, I developed a strong allergic reaction to gel polish. I am still learning about this, so take this with a grain of salt, but apparently this is a common problem with Beetles. The products contain a high amount of allergens (HEMA). Once you develop an allergy, it never goes away. I can't use gel polish anymore and I'm really sad about it. Beetles is my new favorite brand of gel. I'm so glad I snagged this color palette before it ran out! These are super saturated and bright. It's neon autumn in 6 shades and I'm here for it. Pictured: two coats of each color, half coat of matte top, half coat of glossy top. Tips for using beetles: - Stick with their brand for top and base coat - Prep the cuticles and nail beds really well. Dry out nail beds with acetone before applying base. - Thin layers, as thin as possible. If it goes on patchy, good! It's gel, you have time to spread it around on the nail to work out the patchiness. - Their lamp is made to work with their polish. 90 seconds to cure with minimal heat spikes (and usually only with the matte top coat). Your mileage will vary with lamps made for other brands of polish. Mine sure did. With proper prep and thin layers, my manicures easily last three weeks with barely any chipping, and I'm hard on my hands. I love this stuff.
