I love this hot glue gun! I have only had it a week and have used 300 glue sticks in it already and it is handling the abuse and overuse very well. I was previously using a glue gun that was older than me and when it finally died this week, I ordered this through Prime. What a difference! It heats up within a few minutes to max temperature and the glue comes out completely liquefied. My last gun was like working with lukewarm silly putty compared to the lava this puts out. On the plus side, everything seems to be bonding together much stronger. It's holding MDF to wood, fabric to PVC and plastic to wood incredibly well (Halloween props.) I accidentally glued something slightly off center and didn't notice until it had dried. There was NO removing it once it was in place without ripping apart the entire structure.I really like the on/off switch. It's much more convenient than having to just rip it out of the wall. I was going to grab a glue gun from either the red or blue big stores but this was the much better purchase. This thing could probably hold a house together. Great buy.The bonus carrying case is nice and it also comes with glue sticks. (Though, do yourself a favor and buy the Gorilla Glue brand. They are the best ones on the market.)

I really liked everything about this gun. Heat up time is excellent, 2-3 minutes, glue delivery is excellent. I had purchased one and returned prior to this. I really liked it very much also, however they had used an off size glue stick, & I could not even find a place to buy more that size. This gun uses stand size glue sticks. Since I already had probably 50 standard size glue sticks, really didn't want to throw all those away. I like the idea of the case to keep it in. Nice overall presentation. They also have something other people had requested, and that is an on/off switch. The only suggestion I would make is, as the other company, the one I returned had was instead of on/off switch, it allowed you to do 100W/60W.The 60W was low enough so there was no dripping glue and it just took few seconds to go to the hotter temperature. Really better in my opinion for you turn the switch off, it takes longer to go back to needed heat.Would buy this gun again in a heart beat. Spend a little more and get a quality product.

This is a great product. Received promptly. Bought this full size glue gun for heavy DIY use. so far it's holding up. Will update in 6 mths time on the robustness. Although it's 100W, takes about 3 mins to melt the glue stick sufficient for use. Suggest to be patient as you want it hot so that there is no bubbling and make adhesion clean. Used it outdoor in the cold winter and works like a charm. Indoor use, probably 2 mins will be sufficient to heat up the glue. The bag is neat bonus for proper storage and easy access rather that throwing everything in m garage drawer. For the same price you could probably get a Ryobi but without the glue sticks and the bag. The construction are very similar. The electronics in it is basic so I'm confident it will hold up. The nib is brass and will last a long time.

BEWARE OF THE LIE!!!!!!!!!!! As much as I love most everything about this glue gun; the simple fact that it is lies about being 'dual temperature' drops it to a 4 star... and tempted me to go lower. My wife does crafts and I got this for her thinking it was perfect for her small/delicate crafts as well as the more sturdy. Instead of two guns she would have the one. Great reviews, but I am guessing they changed the design and 'forgot' to mention it. Therefore, after melting some of her crafts she was working on (and burning her finger); I am in the dog house. I got a new glue gun out of it, but now have to buy a different one as well as earn my way out of the doghouse. Other than that fact it is a great glue gun that heats up fast, works great, and does a good job... OH the case is about useless because of the zipper too, but I keep mine in a toolbox so no problem for me.

I received today and was using the gun five minutes later. I haven't used a glue gun before and found the accompanying instructions very easy to follow. I was surprised at how fast the glue is ready for use; the heating element is fast and I was really amazed at how strong a bond this glue provides. Initially, I just tried putting some AA batteries together to make up a battery pack. Worked great for this application -- just run a bead of glue along the channels between the batteries. I also love that this particular gun has an on-off switch with an indicator light to show ON. Excellent! And there's a little metal stand that folds out to keep the gun upright while the tip cools off. That works great as well. Glad I read the reviews of this item before buying. Looks like an excellent choice among the many glue guns offered for sale on Amazon.

This is my first heat gun that i ever purchase. I did some research on the web and YouTube. I personally didn't see any reviews on this particular gun. However after reading the description this gun seemed it had everything that I need. I ordered it. The delivery was lightning fast without any issues. The melt gun looks like it's well made it has his own case that holds the gun and extra sticks of glue. This makes it very convenient. The gun itself warms up very quickly and it's ready to go the glue stick feeds easy due to large trigger handle I like it very much I would recommend it to anyone that's looking for a good heat gun. I would buy this gun again but it doesn't look like it will have to for a very long time.
