KAUKKO Vintage Casual Canvas and Leather Rucksack Backpack

Great product

I use this for school and out of school activities every day (for the last 3 months+). It keeps my laptop and books protected, and the bag itself shows no sign of damage. It looks great and feels good on the shoulders and back, even with a good amount of weight. I can fit my laptop, a few notebooks or binder, a thick folder, my lunch bag, and a pencil case with room to spare.

My teenager wanted another Herschel backpack. I purchased her one in the past, and for the life of me I don't get the appeal beyond the brand. We've been through Vera Bradley backpacks too. I found Kaukko while shopping for the Herschel here on Amazon. On paper it has double the pockets, all the style, and it's HALF THE PRICE. And then I read about Kaukko the designer. Good story, trying to get his brand going. So I went for it. It arrived in two days as advertised. And it's a really nice backpack. It's large and quite stylish. There's a spot for a laptop, and plenty of room for whatever else you want to throw in. Some of the reviews/answers said it could fit a few days worth of clothes. Before it arrived I would've never believed it. But she can use the bag for sleepovers or perfect for an airline under-the-seat bag. COLORS: The color options as shown are odd. "Navy" looks brown. "Black-1" looks navy. Wanting navy, I took a chance with the Black-1 color. It's a true dark denim - if any of you are old enough to remember buying Levi's 501s brand new in the store growing up, this is Black-1. I was honestly worried my daughter would turn her nose up to an off brand bag. But when I gave it to her, I said nothing. Just, "Oh you're backpack came in." She picked it up, examined it for a minute ans asked, "What's KOOKOH?" I told her Kaukko is the name of the designer, and he designs all his own bags, "cool, right?". She said he liked the bag and went about her day. No big thang. We'll see how it holds up to everyday high school use. But if you're hesitating buying this backpack, don't.

UPDATED 11/1/2017 Contacted customer service and they are replacing the bag! Very happy with both the bag and customer service! My son loves the bag however, the magnet that holds the straps closed at the front came off so now he can't close the bag!

I got this as a lightning deal and it’s perfect for the price.

I bought this bag to bring to school and Its great for school. It holds a lot of books as while as my 15.6 inch laptop comfortably and without looking bulky when I bring it and the pads make for a comfortable wear and It has a lot of different compartments including hidden ones to hide things which is great for avoiding a thief. It was great in the beginning however after about four months of use one of the clips on the front that secure the straps broke off and one of the secret compartments which has velcro, the velcro is not stringy and tear off of the compartment. However apart from those minor faults it is a good bag.
