VIVI CAP Insulin Cooler Travel Case TSA Approved Diabetic Pen Protector

I bought one of these last year and it worked perfectly and I was impressed the way it kept my insulin at the correct temperatures. A week or so ago it stopped working correctly so I contacted customer service . The treatment I received from them was absolutely the best Ron who was dealing with my problem was positive and immediately told me that I would receive a new unit but in the meantime told me how I could try and reset the unit I already had, unfortunately it did not work . Ron had one sent out to me immediately and I received it within a week of my fist contact with Ron. I love this unit as it give me freedom to come and go with no worries about keeping my insulin at the proper temps. Again Thanks Ron .

I had a very positive experience with the team at VIVI Cap. My original cooling pen had a small defect, and they immediately reached out personally to make it right. Daniel called me directly to help resolve everything and even sent a replacement along with a thoughtful gift. When I accidentally forgot to include the defective unit in my return, they were kind, understanding, and even sent another label with zero issues. The new device works great, and the level of professionalism and care they showed really impressed me. As a Type 1 Diabetic, I feel relieved to have a functioning insulin pen travel case without the fear of my insulin overheating. I highly recommend both the company and the product!

08.30.2018 Since I purchased this product for my dad eight months ago for his trip to Cancun, he has been using it as his pen cap everyday and when the pen is done, he just takes a new pen and places VIVI CAP on it instead of the cap that comes with the pen- that’s it. No worries about outside temperature anymore ever since, and, he doesn’t have to do anything special for this, just keeps the VIVI CAP on every pen he uses. We also realizes that even when the pen side is warm on touch, the insulin part, that’s covered by VIVI CAP, is not! To make sure the insulin is in good shape he just has to push the button and observe the indicator going green for few seconds. That easy. It’s a truly great product and,in fact, I just bought him a second one for his extra pen. Little hint: Make sure you hear a click when putting the Vivi cap on. See the video. This is an amazing product. My dad recently went on vacation in Cancun, and this pen was a life saver. It kept his insulin safe and cool, even during the day trips in +90F temperatures. It’s easy to carry and gives you peace of mind on the top of being very user friendly and effective. We are very happy with this product, and would definitely recommend it to any insulin-dependent person.

Look, being diabetic sucks, alright? One of the anchors in our lives is we take insulin everywhere. But as a guy, I dont necessarily have a manpurse to carry it in. This in a pocket works great. Had it in Hawaii for a week, and really made the trip easier than expected. It works kind of like those cups and coolers that seem to keep things cold forever. In this case it just prevents it from getting too warm and has a YES/NO sensor too. As long as we get a green its still good. 12 hours on a tropical island would not make it go anything but green! I know they arent cheap, but you don't want a cheap product anyhow. As I understand it, the battery is NOT replaceable and you will get about a year out if it. Not that it wont keep isulin pens cool afterwards, but that you dont have the powered sensor.... Still, I use it every... single.... day...

Ordered the 2-pack and neither one had an active, working signal light. They were both defective. I do know someone who used them for an overseas trip and they worked, so I'm tempted to order another. We noticed however, box label looked like it had been removed so it's highly likely they were already returned once.

This is truly a life saver for me to keep my insulin safe from temperature extremes. I keep my pen in my purse all year and being out and about in varying weather can make keeping the insulin at a constant temperature challenging. I have used this tool for about 6+ years now and I have not had any issues. I highly recommend this to anyone using insulin pens.

Had this product, used another, thought it was good. Went to use one day and part of the plastic broke off, so was unable to use anymore. I did not put pressure on it or anything, it had a hairline Crack when I got it, thought it would still work. It didn't work anymore!!

This is the second time that I have ordered this product. It works perfectly and lasts a bit over 2 years with daily use. A bit pricey but money well spent.

Very convenient makes life a little easier

Hatte mir bereits 2019 eine VIVI Cap besorgt und seitdem oft im Sommer mit meinem NovoPen Echo benutzt. Leider habe ich es in den Jahren dazwischen nicht mehr gefunden (war nicht verfügbar?), bis ich jetzt auf das hier gestoßen bin und mir gleich als Backup gekauft habe. Es scheint fast identisch mit dem alten Modell, nur an der Öffnung zum Einführen des Pens ist jetzt eine Art flexibler Gummiring, der wohl dazu führt, dass es nun besser kompatibel mit verschiedensten Pens ist. Bei dem Alten gab es noch mind. zwei Versionen für verschiedene Pens, dafür ist ein passender Pen bei dem alten auch spürbar und sicher eingerastet. Die neue Lösung passt aber für meinen Pen auch gut und kommt mir sicher vor. Wie gut dieser Gummi Dauerbenutzung standhält, muss sich noch zeigen. Meine alte VIVI Cap ist jetzt schon 5 Jahre im Einsatz und funktioniert soweit ich das beurteilen kann noch wie am ersten Tag. Die LED leuchtet noch, auch wenn ich sie zugegebenermaßen nur selten betätigt habe, also wenig Verbrauch der Batterie dadurch. Die isolierende Kühlfunktion ist meiner Meinung nach gegeben, zumindest nach Gefühl und so, dass ich noch keine direkten negativen Auswirkungen auf das Insulin durch Hitze feststellen konnte. Die LED wechselt auch (selten) ihre Farbe, was ganz plausibel zu den Gegebenheiten passt. Ich würde trotzdem immer vermeiden den Pen in direkter Sonne oder sonstiger Hitze zu lassen, aber im Sommer gibt mir die Cap einfach eine zusätzliche Sicherheit ohne umständliche Handhabung von gewöhnlichen Kühltaschen. Da ich über mehrere Jahre damit zufrieden war, hab ich mir also jetzt noch ein Backup geholt.

Very bad. Not working at all only indicating the temperature . No support from the developer, website, or instagram page. As a doctor I do not recommend this product
