Why didn't I use these sooner?
I wish I took a picture of the clothes when it was packed in these cubes, however I was able to fit a crazy amount of stuff in these. I know there's the debate of how much can fit in a suitcase without the cubes Vs. how much can fit in cubes. I'm telling you, it's pretty much the same amount either way you choose. However, these cubes make it so that all you need to do is fill them up, then drop them right into your suitcase without really thinking of where or how to fit them in there. They are sized perfectly to fit into your standard size carry-on or your standard size check-in suitcase. It was like a puzzle. Our luggage traveled across the entire US with one layover, and the cubes kept their positions in the suitcases! We all know what suitcases look like at the end of a trip when you pack clothes directly into the suitcase without using packing cubes. These cubes are awesome! Everything stayed organized exactly the way I packed them. The hotel we stayed in had very little drawer space. Thank goodness for these cubes! We left most of our things in the cubes, and just put the cubes on shelf space. If we didn't have these cubes, we'd be living out of our suitcases because there was nowhere to put our loose items due to lack of storage in the hotel room. And even though our stuff was still in the cubes, access to our stuff was easier than digging around in a suitcase. This helped free up space in our hotel room because we were able to get the suitcases out of the way by storing them in the closet. The value of this set is unbeatable. You're getting 2 sets of each size, which was great! My daughter and I shared one color, and I bought a second color for my boys to share. So figuring out whose cube was whose on the shelf was not a problem at all. I truly love these cubes! The amount you get, and the quality for the price is more than worth it. And the organization, and neatness makes traveling so much easier and stress free. I can't express enough how much these cubes have made travel life easier for me and my family. I just wish I gave into packing cubes sooner. One thing that I will complain about is the amount of color and pattern choices there are now compared to when I bought my cubes! No, I'm kidding, that's not a complaint at all. I'm happy with this purchase. I totally recommend it, and if I ever need more cubes, I'll be back to buy this brand again. Hopefully the same deal of 6 pieces will still be available.

Wow! Who knew?!! Not a frill after all!
I read about packing cubes in travel articles over the past few years, but thought they were a frill that wasn't really necessary. In the scheme of life's issues, they are still kind of a frill, BUT, when my husband came home from a trip exasperated with the clothing mess in his suitcase, I recalled what I had read about packing cubes. So, after a lot of research, I ordered 5 brands of packing cubes to compare and then chose a set best suited for our needs. By far, these 6 black mesh Bagail cubes are the winner in my book! Three reasons: 1) They are sized well for the contents they are intended to hold - large one for bottoms, medium one for tops, and small one for the little stuff. Both men's and women's clothing fit well after a little experimenting. 2) They are exactly proportional in their measurements with each other. The medium and small bags fit exactly on top of the large bag when stacked. This makes your suitcase or duffle bag so easy to organize and doesn't waste space like many other brands that are not proportional and do not fit together well like a puzzle. Check out the measurements of each cube to see what I mean by proportional, then compare other brands' measurements. These are the only ones I found that are truly sized right so they stack on top of each other and fit!! 3) They are well-made with quality materials. The top mesh is sturdy and transparent enough to see contents readily. The sides and bottom are a wonderful satin-like fabric that feels nice to the touch and doesn't resist when packing into your suitcase. All the other brands had a plastic-like, cheap feel to the materials. So, what did I do? After my husband and I used them for a weeklong camping trip (we split the set of 6 to try them out), I ordered another set, so we each have 6 to use for our travels in the future. No longer an unnecessary frill!! These Bagail cubes made the organization of our suitcases and clothing effortless throughout our trip. Yes, buy them! You won't be disappointed!

Makes packing stress-free
These packing cubes are fantastic. They keep everything perfectly organized, prevent clothes from shifting and wrinkling during travel, and fit neatly into my bag. They are lightweight but durable. I'll never travel without them again!

Pros and Cons
Two week trip through Europe: Copenhagen, 7 day Norway Cruise, London, Paris. I used two small cubes for my carry on; and a large cube, and two mediums for my suitcase. The remaining large cube would not fit in either. I had no problems with zippers or smells. Since returning from Europe, I have also used the smaller two cubes in a backpack to travel to two work conferences. PROS: -I was able to keep my PJs in a small cube and "clean" from the rest of my clothes. -Easily fit all my socks and underwear in a small cube of their own. -Really liked that I could take cubes out and place on cruise closet shelves without unpacking everything. -I packed the remaining large cube and ended up using it to store my souvenir candy we would pick up at grocery stores. I rolled up the cube and stuffed it in an empty spot. CONS: -Found the larges were too large for travel. I would have preferred 3-4 medium and 3-4 small cubes instead. -Overall, was not a fan of the soft sides. -I did not gain as much room as I was hoping by rolling my clothes and using the cubes. Rather the organization was the key here. Looking back, I would have purchased some vacuum bags to use (as my fiance did) during travel and used a cube or two to help organize those during travel and loose clothing while at my destination. We both decided after this trip to go with smaller suitcases and I can't see these cubes helping that goal. - The cubes organized things, but I had lots of empty space in the bottom of my suitcase where the bars laid. I felt stuffing them with loose items defeated the purpose of having cubes. - I found the smaller cubes a great size for in my carry-on/backpack....buuuuut they also took up a lot of bulk room by being solid items. The cubes allowed me to be able to take them out, which came in handy while going through TSA and on the plane but I also found that I was able to pack way less than I normally would without them.

Nice set of regular packing cubes at a great price
I like this 6-pc set of Bagail regular packing cubes and bought a set for a gift. These are very similar to the packing cubes I've used for years that are now almost impossible to find. The pale beige color is pretty and they have the features that are important to me. The quality seems about like other cubes and they are lightweight. Hand or machine wash on gentle cycle and only air dry. The zippers work fine so far and they each have a little carry handle. Offered in a variety of colors. What I especially like about these: *The zippers zip all around allowing the lid to be fully opened back for easy packing and retrieval of items. (Strangely, some other fancier brands only partially zip open on only two sides, not four, making them difficult and annoying to use. That's a deal breaker for me when so many others open fully like these.) *These have some mesh on the tops which allows you to see the contents without opening the cube. *The 6-pc set offers a good variety of only packing cubes, with no extra, less useful items. It has two large or xl cubes, two medium size cubes (my most often used size), and two smaller slim shaped cubes that aren't too small. All are useful, and not every brand offers the slim cubes. *The cubes in this set are generously sized, slightly larger than the equivalent (large, medium, etc) sizes in some other brands. *The price is excellent, especially for the set you get. What some people might prefer to be different: *There is no second compression zipper to allow the option of using them as compression cubes. (But see below. This isn't an issue for me.) *The mesh is black and not as fine as some mesh. This seems to maybe (?) reduce the visibility of the contents a little bit, but it might just be my vision, which isn't the best. I'm a big fan of packing cubes in general (they really do help a LOT in several ways) and I prefer the regular non-compression ones because each cube can be completely filled and holds more that way. The zipped lid compresses things enough when they are full. Re compression cubes: To compress them any further using the second zipper, they must be only partially filled, which defeats the purpose (unless you don't have enough items to need to completely fill the cube). Things can only be compressed a limited amount either way. Of course if you don't need to completely fill your cubes, they're better for that, as long as the other features are good. (But I fill mine up completely!) And if they are well designed (not all are) you can also just use them as regular packing cubes, fill them firmly and completely, and ignore the second zipper. Many people like compression cubes more than I do. I looked at many sets before ordering these and one more kind (6-pc Bagsmart compression cubes) for gifts, both of which I like for different reasons. This is a useful set of regular packing cubes and an excellent value.

Packing cubes make travel so much better!
[Updated review, Sept 2023] I'm still very happy with these packing cubes. They've been on about ten trips and they still look and feel new. I threw them in the washing machine once when they'd absorbed the smell of dirty laundry, and they made it through the wash intact and clean. I used a mesh laundry bag to contain them during the wash since I didn't want the zipper pulls to get caught and damage the cubes or my machine. Would still recommend these cubes to any traveler looking for a starter set. [Original review, Nov 2022] I've started traveling more recently, and I finally decided to follow the common travel advice to use packing cubes. I thought, surely it doesn't make THAT big a difference, does it? It does. Even without compression, packing cubes allow you to be more organized and efficient, which makes for a better travel experience. Need to open your luggage at the airport? You can easily find what you need without dumping everything on the ground. Unpacking at the hotel? A breeze - just grab the cube handles and plunk the cubes directly into drawers. I didn't know what I'd been missing. They're perfectly sized to fit in standard carry-on luggage (one of each size per carry on, so a six-cube set is enough for two people). The cube handles are nice when unpacking - you can grab everything all at once - and the mesh panels allow things to breathe a bit during travel. I roll my clothes and can fit one layer of rolled items in each cube. My clothes did wrinkle, but that's to be expected when traveling, not a big deal. At the end of your trip you can roll up all your dirty clothes and repack them into these cubes... which you can then unzip and empty directly into the washing machine upon arriving home. So far these seem sturdy and I don't have any concerns about durability - not even the mesh panels. I bought these less expensive cubes thinking I'd give them a shot and then upgrade to something better if I liked the concept... but they're quite good and I can't think of what would need to be upgraded, so I'm just going to keep using these!

My first time using packing cubes. I like.
I’ve never used them before. I didn’t think they’d save space as I’ve always rolled my clothes for more compact packing. It turns out they do. Something about being better organized saves a surprising amount of space. They seem perfectly well-made, and the two large sizes plus the two small sizes fit into my 24” check bag with space for my shoes and toiletries. I bet the whole set would fit in a 28” check bag, and the two smaller sizes would fit in a 20” carryon. I’m a large person which means my clothes take up twice as much space as a smaller person. I could fit a week’s worth of cotton blend summer dresses in the large size and 3 sports bras and 7 undies in the smallest size. That probably means an adult half my size could fit two weeks worth of dresses and two weeks worth of underwear in just one of the largest cubes and the smallest cubes. That’s a lot. To be efficient with the cubes and keep them in the proper shape, rolling your clothes or folding them very tight is the best option. There are all kinds of examples of how to do that on Google. I haven’t taken my trip yet, but I can see already that they are going to keep me way organized. I won’t need to unpack, just pull out the proper cube, grab the item I want, and stick it back in the case. It will save lots of time at the end of my trip. Not to mention the ability to segregate my dirty laundry from the clean; I might be most excited about that, actually. UPDATE: I’ve taken my trip now. I’m currently in a hostel in a tiny room with no shelves or dressers. They were as useful as I thought. They’re doing the work of a dresser and handling it like a champ.

Very convenient makes traveling a lot easier
I really like these travel cubes. I’ve had them for over a year and use them probably half a dozen times to travel out of the country and on weekend trips, but mostly on our my Mexico annual trips they make your luggage mucks more organized and convenient. You pack like all your shirts and one your pants and another your under clothes and another and when you get to wherever you’re going, you don’t have to unpack everything if you don’t want to especially the underwear and everything just leave it in the bags and just put it in the drawer, you can take things out if you want to hang them up so that they wrinkle less but you don’t have to make it much more organized and it’s not compression cubes but I just think it helps you to pack better so I really do like them and they seem to be good quality I really like the colors I’ve got the blue and white and multicolored and they’ve got some mesh on them so you can see what’s in there. I’m very pleased with them I would buy them again no problem .

Amazing idea.
2nd set i have ordered and am very pleased with the quality and service provided by the company. Brilliant idea and keeps your clothes neat and tidy. Just move them from your suitcase to the wardrobe -eliminating them being all jumbled up when searching for items. Money well spent.

These packing cubes are a great idea. We are travelling soon and stopping at several places so these will be great to keep clothes organised and not creased when living out of a suitcase. They seem to be good quality and the zips are sturdy. You can get a surprising amount in them too.
