We bought this strap for a dresser but this is a TV strap. It has all the hardware for the TV but almost none for using it for furniture. The straps are thinner than another brand we purchased before - so again, designed for for a TV. We have extra screws on hand - otherwise we would have returned it. Do not use for heavy furniture - our dresser is pine so it will kind of work.

These straps are great. Easy to install. All the necessary hardware is included with the straps. I don't have any children or pets running around so I really do not have to worry about them knocking over the TV, but you never know when you or a guest might bump into the stand and the TV topples over. If you have pets, children, grandchildren, I recommend buying these anti-tip straps. The vendor sent the item quickly with no problems. Highly recommend.

Very easy to install

I bought this because it said no tools needed. That's not true. On the instructions it is specified you need a drill. Moreover, none of the screws would fit my TV.

Pros: It looks and feels very sturdy and the strap is long enough even for big TV's. The M8 screw for the TV looks good quality and is long enough.Cons: I installed the lower brackets as per instructions screwed to the TV stand using the provided 1-inch screws. DO NOT USE THOSE SCREWS. The screw head is simply so small that it actually goes through the small holes in the metal bracket. I had to use my own 1-inch screws with bigger heads so that it securely holds both brackets in the TV stand.For a product that prides in securing TV's from falling onto our children this is a huge security oversight. The provided 1-inch screws simply could not secure the brackets properly and safely.

If you have kids or cats/animals this is going to be your saviour. It is very sturdy and has withstood my clumsy and slightly chunky kitten who loves to jump on top of the TV... my TV is still standing and it has been a few months now since installing this. I highly recommend

When you have small grand kids who swing on everything you don’t want to be complacent about what they climb on. This straps are easy and safe. Totally adjustable for moving things about to vacuum. Impressed. I feel safer and I know that my two little devils are safer too.

Haven't had an emergency to properly test these (no earthquakes or children ripping the TV down yet, thankfully). They came with screws that fit my TV, screws for the wall, and they were easy to install. Well worth the peace of mind!
