Great Quality!
I needed a light weight black boot for work. I chose these because they had a nice look, low price and the reviews seemed pretty good. Several of the reviews suggested ordering 1 size bigger and I should have done just that. They do run small. I have regular feet, not narrow, not wide and I consistently wear a 9 in most ladies boots. I did order 1/2 size larger but they were a bit tight on my right foot, snug but do-able on the left. I tried to be optimistic and think they might relax a bit after wearing them, nope.So after all that, here’s my honest opinion of these boots…..Very light weight! They have a nice, sturdy, quality constructed feel to them. I really like that the bottoms are made of a rugged and strong rubber that indicated to me that they will hold up for a long time….we shall see. They do seem to breathe quite well and my feet are not overheating so far. The boot is padded just enough that it feels like I’m wearing cozy slippers that are hugging my feet. The insoles are ok, not bad but I would purchase an after market insole that had a bit more arch support and a tad more cushion under your feet.Final…..these are the best boots I have had in the past 10 years! For a great price.Unfortunately, since I have worn them to work twice, I sure they wont exchange them for the next size up BUT basing the comfort level of my left foot, LOL I will be purchasing a size 10, adding a high quality insole and I will have the PERFECT, lightweight, durable, stylish and extremely comfortable work boot!******But make sure you order 1 full size larger. And that was with regular socks. This is an honest review, I was not paid or compensated in any way.

Get a full size larger
Update -these quickly became my favorite boots. I've walked around stores, sidewalks, trails, and just tooling around in the yard picking up sticks, trimming back branches- they are VERY comfortable. On pavement/hard floors they have good cushioning, outside - the stabiity & traction are wonderful. I'm very pleased with them. I've worn $200.00 boots that I was not as impressed with. I'm upgrading from 4 to 5 stars - because once the size is right, the boots is excellent.Definitely require a FULL size larger than usual. The heel/arch support is just fine.Just unboxed & walked around the house... This is my second pair of XPETI, the other I ordered a half size larger - as suggested - those will do fine with very thin socks. BUT I wanted a pair I can wear with wool socks- so far, these will be good. Comfortable - but the arch may be a little too much nearest my heel. I expect that to "wear in".Love the styling, sole lugs are aggressive and strong - I believe they will be great walking some of the rocky trails around here. Snug but can still wiggle my toes, feels like they'll help keep good balance. I like them. I'll try to update after I've put them to use. Very glad I ordered a full size larger. (Some Nike I can do 8.5, most Nike & Adidas I do a size 9. I ordered a 10 for these)

Comfortable
I went on a 6 mile hike using these boots. My feet were comfortable. I had to walk thru mud and water and my feet stayed dry. The only issue is they run small. I read the previous reviews and ordered a size 9. I wear size 8.5 and the 9 fit perfect. So if you’re considering this boot keep in mind they run small. I got the purple boots and received compliments on the look.

Fit great and have good grips on the trail
They fit great, hardly needed to break them in.

Great boot
Great boot, comfy fit, good traction not as waterproof as I had thought but with some silicon spray all around above average boot. True fit.

Grip on ice and snowy deck!
The media could not be loaded. Excellent grip on very slippery surfaces. Posted video walking on snowy deck. Just enough to make usual tread slide out from under, but these were excellent. It's not the amount of tread but what it's made of. However, plenty of tread, for the snow trail or mud. Not high tops though.Water resistant for sure. As soon as I put these on I knew I wanted to keep them. I've been sending all other boots back. Keen and Columbia were awful!!. Heels have Excellent support all the way around. Something is built in. I had to push out my left heel as it was crunching my foot. That worked and the boot caused me no pain. Whole foot is stableand that's one big reason i sent others back. Dangerous if foot is wobbling in shoe, and i won't tolerate tread that is slippery. Plenty of toe room. Very comfortable. Plenty of cushion to walk on the road to get to trail. Plenty warm, even though they are not meant for walking in deep snow. I have narrow feet, but wear very thick socks, fairly wide toes, and narrow heels. Does not force the bulk of weight on heel. True to size for me.

Small fit size up 1/2 it is worth it!!
Very comfortable, lots of padding, love the colors. Amazon recommended normal size 7, that was returned. Order a 7 1/2 and that is a keeper.

Great value for the price
I don’t usually write reviews but I’ve been so impressed with these boots! They are warm and comfortable. Great tread for ice and snow use. Definitely size up at least a half size. Best boots for the price I’ve ever purchased.
