Following lots of YouTube tutorials we were recommended the John guest push and fit fittings. They are easy to use, we have had no leakage issues, just make sure your pipes have a nice clean cut. We also found the little round inserts to keep the piping in a circular shape handy. Great value for money and ease for newbies.

Fitted the tap to the caravan pipes perfectly

Perfect for the job. Easy fit no leak. As a precaution against leaks I bound the threads with thread sealing tape. Used on my caravan so my experience is not related to U.K. mains water pressure.
