I am fostering a mother cat and three kittens. I ordered this enclosure kit and set it up in my garage.You hardly need any instructions; it is very self explanatory. The pieces go together like Legos or Tinkertoys. You can design your own layout as you go. It’s just a bunch of equal sized squares and some corner hardware to join them together, and cable ties to keep them from pulling apart. There are several types of squares. Most are a wire mesh grid, but there are also a bunch of solid walls and some that are just empty frames that maintain the structural integrity while allowing openings. And there are some grid pieces with trimmed corners that make good trap doors. And some half squares for ladders.You absolutely need the cable ties. Lots of them. The corner joint pieces snap together but are easily pulled apart without the cable ties. I chose to use longer cable ties than the ones that came with the kit, since I already had them and the additional length made it easier to assemble. The small ones worked fine, it was just a hassle to thread them.I used the solid pieces for the lowest row because I was afraid my one week old kittens would be able to crawl through the grid. This has worked out perfectly. The kittens are now 4.5 weeks old and in the last two days they have started climbing to reach the second row, where the mesh grids start. They keep trying to squeeze their little heads through but they don’t fit through the way they might have, three weeks ago.I also used some of the solid pieces to make a shelf, and some of the empty squares as legs to support it. The mama cat sits up there when she wants a break, and it holds her weight just fine. She is only six pounds but I think it would support a larger cat as well.We used some coat hangar wire bent into U shapes, to make latches for the doors.I don’t think this enclosure would hold a more determined cat. Or a ferret. But this mama cat is very tame and gentle. The kittens are rambunctious but still too small to break out.People keep leaning on the cage. So far it has held up to being leaned on, but it flexes. I think that if you were hauling it around to public events, taking it down and putting it back up over and over, random people leaning on it, children reaching for the kitties, etc, the humans around it could be pretty hard on it. There would be some attrition as individual panels or joints were damaged. But I have enough extra parts that I could foster kittens many times without any serious issues. I can swap out any pieces that get damaged.I would buy this again. It is very practical.

I ordered this for 6 kittens that I was fostering. It took about 4 hours to configure, because there were no directions included. I had to disassemble the first time, because there were not enough panels. When complete, I was excited for what I had created for the kittens, but immediately 3 of the kittens got their heads stuck in the openings of the cage. I had to then tape cardboard all around the sides to prevent them from trying to climb through the cage. Another issue was the "door" to the cage kept collapsing from the side, despite using the little white connectors that link together. This is a very flimsy cage. If I bumped the side or a couple of kittens climbed the side. It would start to fall apart. I ended up buying extra tie straps and securing each panel, but they still came loose and would only be hanging by the tie straps. After two weeks of dealing with this waste of money, I disassembled it and it will be thrown away.Don't waste your money. I can't even imagine putting an adult animal in this crap. Best case scenario the animal escapes, but most likely you will end up with an injured pet.

The media could not be loaded. This took me a bit of time to put together. It had two types of corner holders and it needs to come with more of the full circle ones. It only had 8 of those. The rest are flat sided. So I could not make it any taller bc there weren’t enough of that type. I used extra zip ties. But my cat loves it. I’m going to try and add another layer with just zip ties next. Or I’m gonna see if I can order more of the circular ones.All in all it’s a great set BUT please note THERES NO INSTRUCTIONS!!!! I watched YouTube HOW TO videos before starting which was important. Once I got it together it’s held pretty strong. I’m glad we got it and glad the kitty loves it.PS: I highly recommend that you build it in the spot you plan to leave it bc once it’s built it’s impossible to move without some parts coming apart and you’ll end up having to fix several corners. I learned this the hard way.

I bought this to house my bunny. Things I liked1. There are 3 doors included. That helps a lot. I put one each on three sides so when opened bunny can enter from either side.2. Two 'blank' frames which help with providing support from bottom to second level while not blocking any route for my bunny.3. Hammock cloth is very soft and doesn't feel cheap. Though I did not make hammock, I used it to line my bunny's bed.Few tips1. if you want bigger enclosure but running low on panels, you can place the enclosure next to a wall and use wall as one side of the cage.2. If you don't trust the flat platform panels as second level and carry weight of your pet, you can use flat panels on the cage sides and use the actual grill panel as base for second level (and of course cover with cardboard/cloth to make it comfortable for your pet)Some things which could be improved1. the ramps have really steep angel. My bunny prefers to jump to second level panels rather than climbing through ramps.2. the 2 big swing doors could be better designed (probably inside a wire frame so that it would not sag if there is no 'roof' of your enclosure.3. While installing one of the wires on a panel broke. Not a big deal since I was using it for roof of my enclosure.In summary, I got bigger space for my bunny for it to run around and get in and out easily thorough 3 doors. Good buy for me.

We purchased this as a place for our new cat to get acclimated. It's a bit flimsier than I hoped and the ceiling is not at all sturdy (the other cat fell through it).

Nos encantó, tenemos un gatito demasiado nervioso y le encantó estar adentro. Mi gato pesa al rededor de 9kg y lo aguantó bien. Pongan muchos muchos cinchos (en cada enlace de ser posible) y para cerrar la puerta nosotros compramos cinchos de velcro. Hasta ahorita todo bien. Compramos la más grande y estamos pensando en comprar una más para extender el ambiente :)

It takes a full day to assemble, instructions are poor but you don't really them. The door needs to have a latch otherwise it does not stay closed. I bought my own to keep it closed but still stays open some. My kitty loves it, I set it up that it attached to my window. The only thing was that they sent it to the wrong address I almost did not get it. I was lucky enough to have the man at the address it was delivered to found out how to contact me and arranged for me to come to pick it up. Otherwise I would not of gotten it. I did have to drive for an hour to pick it up. I was lucky enough to have this man to take the time to find me, but he could of kept it for himself. Not everyone is this honest.

Les grilles se brise très très facilement . Mon chat pèse 15 lbset il parvient à literalement casser les soudures . J'ai dû DOUBLER les grilles. De plus il y avait pas assé de joint d'assemblage dans le paquet , je suis prise avec plusieurs grilles .
