State of the art in RC flight controllers.
As with all of their FCs, Matek's F405WMN is an outstanding flight controller for the RC pilot. I have three flying right now, all set up with iNav 6 or 7. Matek's documentation is top-shelf and gives you everything you need to know to install and program the controller. As with all FCs, this is not plug and play and requires wiring and soldering.

Matek Flight Controller is very difficult and not very stable or user friendly,
I bought this thing on July 24th 2025, it has literally been nothing but a nightmare, I have been literally fighting with this thing since day one, with wiring connections to camera set up, 100% serious, when I get one thing working somthing else goes down, now Im at the point the FC states the plane is armed, yet it will not spin up the motor, when trying to figure this problem out my video feed from my walksnail system goes down, I measure the 9volt pins for the camera lconnection and it seems I have lost the power at the FC, just junk, I give, I have everything the flight controller needs to arm and it literally stated the plane is armed but it dont work, again I bought this thing in July it is now 9/14/25 and I still have yet to get this junk off the ground, beware when buying this, its not worth in, Im on to buy a different FC, one that is a little more user friendly

Avoid like the plague
What you should keep in mind is this is NOT a plug and play solution. In order to use it you will have to use the configurator. In order to use that you will have to have a cable that the controller likes. At this price why not include one it likes? I have much cheaper devices that DID come with a cable. No Im not kidding. Then you get to experience the joy of trying to flash the firmware to the FC. Of course you will need this driver and/or that driver, and or this "fix" or that "fix". Then you flash the firmware, and the FC still wont connect. Trust me avoid Matek products at all costs. I am going back to the Zohd Autopilot Lite. Cheaper, no drivers or fixes, no bs.
