Great replacement cable at a great price!
The cables works great after my cat chewed through the original. No sound quality issues. Cord length is a little short, but I like that -- it's not getting tangled up anywhere, with longer cords in the past I've had to wrap them up. My only 'complaint' is very minor: the cable is made out of two different materials. The part that connects to my DAC is a standard plastic feel while the chunk that plugs into my headphones are a more premium-feeling sleeved cable. This isn't really a problem but it strikes me as a little strange.

Great for k240s
Needed something that wasn't as outrageously long as the cable that came with my k240 studios, thus fit the bill nicely. Snug fit, quality materials, zero complaints. Big fan of the spring as strain relief instead of rubber.

Replaces DT 990 Pro X cable perfectly. Works perfect, 1/4 adapter fits snug, thread is nice.
As the title says, I bought this to replace the cable from my Behrdynamic DT 990 Pro X cable that my cat chewed in half. Works perfectly fine, the mini XLR plugs into the headphones perfectly, and the 1/4 adapter fits snug on the 3.5mm. Don't notice any change from the default cable that came with my headset, so sound quality is still good/the same. 4.9 ft (basically 5ft) is enough length to plug into my audio device, reach me sitting in my chair, and even gives just a bit of wiggle room to move around without having a big long cable dangling on the floor. The cable is a nice black thread with red inline, and the plugs are a gold and silver color. Definitely stands out on a black/grey headset but I personally love it. The lightweight threaded cable is also nice, but I just personally wish it was just a bit thicker for protection. Wishing the cable was a bit thicker is the only reason I'm giving it a 4 star and not 5. Other than that, these are perfect cables! Definitely worth the price.

Better Than I Could've Hoped
I bought a set of AKG K7XX open back headphones a few months ago (via Massdrop). They came with a decent-quality 10ft (!) cord, which I found WAY, WAY too long for regular use. Obviously I'd rather the cord be too long than too short, but still... 10 FEET LONG! It was unwieldy, to put it mildly. After a couple months of stuffing 7 feet of cord in my pocket, I finally decided to look for something more reasonable. That's where this 1.2m (4 foot) cord comes in. I was torn between this one and a similar one that had inline volume/track controls, but I settled on this one for the sake of simplicity... seems like fancy features are always the first thing to fail on such products. I wasn't sure what to make of this cord when I first got it. It's got a fantastic braided sheath, a metal spring for strain relief on the TRS end, and appears to have some excellent quality connectors on both ends. The 1/4" TRS adapter is screw-on, which I appreciate. The 3.5mm end connects solidly into all my devices without being ridiculously tight. And most importantly, the length is perfect. My only concern was the thickness of the cable. It seemed kinda thin compared to the 10 foot cable I was using before, and since I tend to use headphones with my HTC 10 without an external amp, I worried that I might lose some loudness through a thinner wire. Turns out my fears were unfounded. If anything, I seem to get more volume out of my phone now than I used to. I can listen comfortably at less than half volume, which gives me plenty of headroom. For the price, this cord is a downright bargain. If you're in a similar situation as I was and you're hesitating, don't. Just pull the trigger and order this. Mine arrived just in time to listen to the new deluxe re-issue of Faith No More's "We Care A Lot" album, and it's been an amazing listening experience.

Perfect replacement!
This replacement cable for my beloved AKG headphones works perfectly! It is actually more rugged than the one that came with the headphones, though not as long (this one measures 40 inches). That’s ok…I wrecked the original when the cord got tangled in my shoes and I, unknowingly, tried to walk away from my computer. The ends are high quality, the cable has a sturdy, braided fabric covering, and the 1/4 adapter is threaded so it screws onto the mini jack for a secure fit. The price is reasonable given the high quality and it arrived at my doorstep within 48 hours! If you need a replacement cable you can’t go wrong with this one!

Good cable
Needed a longer cable because the original was too short for reaching to the back of my pc, good product

Works fine, for a short time
I purchased this cable so I could sit in my chair and wear my AKG headphones and not have the wheels of the chair roll over the cable, hence the 1.5 meter cable. Well it was great, looked great, felt great, until a few days ago when they became intermittent. Since i purchased this cable in April 2023 and now it January 2024, that is not a long life. The problem is that in the end of the cable that connects to head phones there is an internal break in one of the conductors; it only works when holding the cable in a certain position. I believe the specific problem is that common wire (there are three, left, right, and common) has a break in the conductor. The subtle irony here is that around the same time I purchased this cable, my son explained to me that he had purchased USB cables with the same type of braided jacket. These we more expensive than the cheaper looking cables he had previously been using for years. He also found that the nicer looking cable, with the braided jacket, were inferior with respect to durability compared to the cheaper cable - that is the the became intermittent or just plain stopped working. By the way none of the cheaper cables ever failed in this manner, they only failed after years of wear and tear (or being chewed apart by a pet). Sooo..., unless you plan to hook these up and never move them, they are not worth the extra expense.
