Review: Does exactly what it says on the tin 😊 - Delivery was quick. I am making a house sign to replace our old rotting one. Product went on well and dried quite quickly. So it was easy to give my wood 2 coats. I can’t comment on the wood preservation part of the product because I’ve only just applied it. Review: Buy enough to do the job both sides - Very happy with the results of this Cuprinol clear wood preserver but I did not order a big enough tin, I did the six fence panels ok but it took the full 1 Litre tin to do just one side , I have to get more now to do the other side lol. Decent stuff though ! Not cheap but is quality stuff . Bought more panels since last review and three more cans and upped it to a 5 STAR . ## Features - Actively prevents rot and decay - Colourless Preserver for both interior and exterior use - For use as a basecoat before painting, staining or varnishing - Up to 5m2 per litre with 2 coats - Drying time: 1-5 days depending upon the nature of the surface and the weather conditions ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B001GU2EVG | | Additional Features | Moisture Resistant | | Base Material | Wood | | Best Sellers Rank | #223,312 in Tools & Home Improvement ( See Top 100 in Tools & Home Improvement ) #296 in Household Wood Stains | | Brand | Cuprinol | | Brand Name | Cuprinol | | Coating Description | Provides protection against decay, mould, and blue-staining fungi. | | Color | Clear | | Colour | Clear | | Compatible Material | Wood | | Coverage | 5 m2/litre | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 760 Reviews | | Finish Types | Matte | | Global Trade Identification Number | 05010368010288 | | Item Dimensions | 6 x 11.5 x 17.8 centimeters | | Item Type Name | Exterior Woodcare | | Item Weight | 921 g | | Liquid Volume | 1000 Milliliters | | Manufacturer | Toolbank | | Manufacturer Part Number | 5083486 | | Material | Wood | | Material Type | Wood | | Model Name | Wood Preserver Clear (Bp) | | Model Number | 5083486 | | Model name | Wood Preserver Clear (Bp) | | Number of Items | 1 | | Recommended Uses For Product | Preserving and protecting wood, using as a basecoat, restoring old wood, exterior and interior wood surfaces | | Size | 1 Litre | | Surface Recommendation | Wood | | Surface recommendation | Wood | | Unit Count | 1000 Milliliters | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Cuprinol - **Colour:** Clear - **Material:** Wood - **Model name:** Wood Preserver Clear (Bp) - **Surface recommendation:** Wood ## Images ![5083486 Wood Preserver Clear (Bp) Exterior Woodcare - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71Z7-HiufPL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Does exactly what it says on the tin 😊 *by A***W on 11 December 2023* Delivery was quick.
