I especially bought this for the do it yourself solar section. The added bonus was for the chicken coop. This was actually a present for my husband, as I always have ideas of things for him to make me,rarely do I have plans. The directions are easy enough that I think even I could figure it out and do the solar myself.

The book arrived promptly, in condition as described. It is a good book for those who want to 'do-it-themselves' even if you're not too concerned w/ getting "off the grid' . Thank you for upholding your word.

was really needing more than just a few projects, I was thinking that there was going to be more projects that would help reduce my footprint in different living situations.

First checked out this book at my local public library and fell in love with it. Now I have this copy, LOVE IT!!

Ordered this to add to our collection of homesteading/self sufficiency books. Nice cover on it and there are some good plans in it for solar projects and also for a wind generator. Look forward to trying these out. Very pleased.

This has been one of the best DIY books I've ever read! vary easy to read and follow along with tons of great color photos.

meh... not super impressed. It is ok but was hoping for a little higher quality projects.

Projects are great but some are not as detailed as I would have liked. Has 2 or 3 different ways of doing each project. Would be a good referance guide for someone just starting out.

I can`t wait to try some of this projects.
