Works exactly as advertised. If you’re involved in a project where an open flame could be detrimental, this product is a game changer and could possibly save your life and your property. I purchased this to swap out gas tanks on an old vehicle where a torch to free bolts is not an option. The heat generation is incredible and will also save a lot of time with the even heat distribution around the stuck part. It’s incredibly easy to use and the safest option in my opinion since there’s no chemical clean-up or inhalation. It’s also built to last so don’t mind the price for something that’s actually worth it.

This thing is really amazing. I’ve always heard about these things for many years but never used one until i finally decided to buy this one. Now that I’ve used one I’m wishing I didn’t wait so long. It works great, is super fast compared to torches but the best part is your mostly only heating the nut which is exactly what you want to free up bolts/nuts.

This is a high quality induction heat tool that comes with a good variety of coils in the box. Unfortunately the coils are in a plastic bag instead of a case like pictured. However the price here was lower than I could find anywhere else so it's still a great value for a brand name tool. Design seems like it should hold up well for use by automotive techs. Simply hold the buttpm until the hardware is visually starting to change color and it should be hot enough to break loose. It's much easier to control temp without overheating surrounding components.

Works as advertised..like it

It worked well on exhaust flange bolts. But, not as well as the oxi actelene torch. I think the trick is to heat but not to much so as not to heat up the mating thread to much. I do think it is easier to use than the torch, the torch you may it wires or other items you shouldn’t het with the flame

this thing is great for a shade tree mechanic like me, it works so much better than a torch.

Avoid, avoid, AVOID! This seller hides behind Amazon support & the Mfg. refuses to address their product defects. Literally ZERO support from seller or Mfg for product that arrived damaged!!!!! I can only imagine their failures if I actually needed technical or warranty support of the main unit. One coil arrived damaged (coming out of the bag defective), & all other coils & the tool were fine. I was trying to be HONEST & have ONLY the defective coil replaced (not the entire coil set or the entire inductor kit), which only the Seller or Mfg. can do. Again, trying to be honest, I was trying to avoid a refund or exchange of the entire kit. For that reason, I was trying to contact the SELLER, not generic Amazon support. I was unable to contact the seller via Amazon, as Amazon provides support on behalf of the seller. I contacted the Mfg. & explained the situation to them. I was promised a call back to discuss solutions. I waited, that never happened. After a few weeks, I contacted the Mfg. again. I was asked to send pictures of the damaged coil, its replacement part #, the inductor's serial #, & seller/order information so they could review. They also asked for my mailing address so they could mail a replacement coil and/or call me back for follow-up. I never received a callback or replacement coil. Several weeks later, I STILL haven't received a callback or replacement coil, so I call the Mfg. again. They now tell me that they NEVER replace coils for ANY reason, even if it arrives damaged. Yet they have the NERVE to suggest I PURCHASE a new coil to replace the defective one. Of course, I'm now well past my return window waiting for the Mfg. to do the right thing. One small replacement coil is peanuts for the Mfg. They could have done the RIGHT thing by replacing their DEFECTIVE coil & I'd have been a HUGE advocate & customer for life. Instead, I will NEVER purchase a single product made by them or their parent companies. Not to mention, I'll now go out of my way to share how deceitful & pathetic that company is.

Works well, however the tips seem to heat up randomly, burning the coating off. Not sure how long they’ll last.

Heated crankshaft bolt red and it came out no problem. No more torches needed, keeping this tool!
