The 3" Extra Wide American Classic Strop is available in Black. This handmade strop is custom created by skilled professional craftsmen. Stropping area measures 3" x 17" This durable American-made strop will season with age and keep your straight razor "Shaving Sharp" for the life of the razor. The double is made of Prime Quality Latigo Leather and has a second Nylon Webbing strop joined at the top with a swivel clasp. Both the Leather and Nylon strops have D-Rings at the end.

Excellent for razors and even knives
Keeps an excellent edge on my straight razors and I have even used it on my knives occasionally. Also looks great in solid black if that matters to you. I applied iron oxide compound on the outside of the nylon canvas, chrome oxide on the inner side of the nylon and kept the leather plain. The nylon feels very slick when you use it but it’s great for straightening out bends in the edge that the leather cannot straighten effectively. I was surprised at how well it did that since I had only used smooth and rough leather strops before. I wouldn’t advise anyone to remove the screws holding the strop together since they are short and a complete pain to get back in. Thankfully they won’t come loose on their own. I’ll be buying a second one to use exclusively on knives just so I don’t nick up the one I use for razors.
