I don’t know how effective these are or if fire fighters really notice these in an emergency, but regardless, it makes me feel better knowing it’s there. My kitty’s life is precious and if something as simple as a sticker could be the difference between saving his life in an emergency or losing him, I think it’s worth a try.

i'm wondering if, as an apartment renter, this will damage my front (wooden) door if I adhere it directly to it?

As I am in a subsidized apartment, I am not allowed to stick it to my door so I put it up with a magnet. (you could use a push pin or tape also).
