I purchased these for my family for a stocking stuffer this Christmas . I am very pleased with the quality for the price . This item is an absolute must for any Tolkien fan . The family enjoy them also. They are very shiny and the green is a beautiful shade . A must for your hobbit cloak !! It is a pin backing . Simply place the pin inside the gap and slide it shut . I have found on clothing like jackets that remove on and off they may become loose at times . When I moved them to everyone’s robes, they stayed on better . The robe is also a thicker material that may help keep it closed for some reason . I am not sure it may not make a difference at all . If they need to be cleaned( coffee spills lol) I wipe down with a damp paper towel that’s is it . They do not seem built to last forever if you use them . If they sit on a desk or pinned to a bulletin board they would last forever. Absolutely a must for cosplay. It will finish off your costume like no other. Buy yourself one or for your whole fellowship I do not think anyone would be disappointed if they know what it is and what it stands for what its powers are …. Lol ( no powers included sadly ) A nifty little piece of memorabilia . Affordable and perfect gift for that special superfan !

Bought this pin to complete a Hobbit costume for a party and it was perfect! Lots of reviews mentioned that the clasp didn't work well but I didn't have any problems. It clipped together and stayed clasped all day, and it held my cloak together really sturdily. The green is really pretty and bright, and definitely draws the eye to it. A must-have for any lotr costume/cosplay!

Overall I love how they look it definitely looks like the photo and is a nice replica of the movie they were just a little flatter than I thought they would be so I wanted to include a photo so that you know that there's not a whole lot of raised to them and they don't have like a curve like it looks like they have in in the movie itself however great replica worked amazing with our costumes would completely recommend

Looks and feels a bit cheap, but not as much as in the picture. The clasp feels a bit flimsy, but it hasn't broken after several months on my jacket. Don't think it would hold a cloak together, so if you want it for cosplay, have something else securing your cloak shut and this over as decoration. The green is very pretty, and it makes for a nice conversation piece.

The leaf looks nice, and it’s pretty heavy duty. It seems. It clips on like a bobby pin and the point is exposed so I am worried about pricking myself but other than that it seems like it would work well.

Used them for 3 weeks at the renaissance fair on a heavy cloak and no issues

The color is vibrant and about the right size for a toddler Hobbit costume. Great price!

Poorly designed, clasp doesn't meet to stay closed.
