We've had this oven lock for over a year, and it has been worth every penny as well as every cuss word after an attempt to open the oven without opening the lock, haha. We have a very active toddler who likes to try and "help" in the kitchen, and this lock has saved us from incident on a couple of occasions now. The adhesive holds very strongly, the lock allows very little movement of the oven door when engaged, and it's incredibly easy to operate whether you have oven mitts on or not. You also get a piece of mind "click" to ensure that it's locked.
