TWAYRDIO 2Pack Dual Band Whip Antenna SMA Male for Yaesu Vertex TYT Icom HT

Excellent and picks up air band well

They seem to work just fine. A replacement antenna for ham radio.

Tuning analysis shows these are centered 433.75 Mhz, making them perfect for Meshtastic 433 radios, which is why I bought 4 them. They tested consistent and very low SWR of 1.02 to 1 at 433.75. They also appear to work well on the rest of the 70cm US amateur band. I didn't test their 2M capability, since I only needed them for 433Mhz Meshtastic.

Wry quick delivery and seem to work a little better than the original rugged radio antenna Price was right as original RR whip antenna was 30 bucks each and I needed 4 Appear to be well made and should outlast originals

Installing the device has improved reception/transmission moderately, better on weather and FM Simple install, immediate improvement. It is very well made, way stronger than the OEM. That one the spring in the antenna broke. It is slightly less easy to carry the radio on my person, but in the boat it's not any issue. I see it as an acceptable trade off for better operation. I use it daily for work, and on my time.

I wasn't expecting much considering the price. So far I have been very pleasantly surprised. I use them mostly for my scanner to listen to air traffic. Even inside my house, the reception is much clearer than with the stock Uniden Bearcat antenna. I also listen to sherriff frequencies on the 483 Mhz band and those are also much improved. I did have to get some SMA to BNC adapters but I was well aware of that beforehand.

Fit great and working great !!!

I purchased 2 of these for a duplex Pi-Star MMDVM hotspot and they work great for that purpose. I only run the hotspot on 70CM UHF. But I personally would not use this antenna on a dual band HT radio since this antenna (I tested both I purchased) won't tune anywhere in the 2 Meter Amateur Radio band. My conclusion: great for 70 CM UHF, but this is not a "dual band" antenna based on my measurements.
