Aquatic Experts Aquarium Polishing Filter Pad, Water Polishing Pad for Aquarium Filters, Filter Floss for Fish Tank Filters, (200 Micron, 24" x 36" - 1 Pack)

I used this filter material in the filter of my tropical freshwater aquarium. I had a problem with green water algae infestation and after 5 days of use it had not made any difference. I then added a flocculant to the water and within a day the suspended algae had gone. Its good quality material but over priced especially as it does not filter as efficiently as the manufacturer claims.

I recently purchased the Aquatic Experts Aquarium Polishing Filter Pad for my aquarium, and I am incredibly impressed with its performance! This product has exceeded my expectations in improving the clarity of my tank water. Here’s why I’m giving it a 5-star review: 1. Exceptional Water Clarity: This filter pad is truly effective at polishing the water and removing fine particles. My aquarium water has never been clearer! After just a few days of use, I noticed a significant difference in the overall water quality – it’s crystal clear, and I can now see my fish and decorations in stunning detail. 2. Easy to Use: The pad is simple to install in my filter, and it fits perfectly in the compartment. It’s as easy as replacing any other filter media, but the results are far more noticeable. I love how hassle-free it is to achieve such a clean and polished aquarium. 3. Great for Reducing Cloudiness: If you’ve ever struggled with cloudy water caused by fine debris or excess organics, this pad is a game-changer. It does an excellent job of trapping those tiny particles that regular filter media can’t catch, resulting in noticeably clearer water. My tank looks healthier, and my fish seem to be thriving. 4. Durable and Long-Lasting: I’ve been using this filter pad for a couple of weeks now, and it’s holding up really well. It’s durable and doesn’t break down quickly like some other polishing pads I’ve tried in the past. I expect it to last quite a while, providing great value for money. 5. Compatible with Various Filters: The best part about this pad is its versatility. It works perfectly with my canister filter, but I’m confident it would work just as well in other types of aquarium filters. It’s designed to be flexible, so you can cut it to fit your specific filter model if needed. 6. Improves Overall Water Quality: Beyond just clarity, I’ve noticed that the water quality in my tank has improved in terms of overall health. It helps reduce fine debris, excess nutrients, and even minor debris buildup, making the tank healthier for my fish and plants. Final Thoughts: If you’re an aquarium owner who values pristine water quality, this Aquatic Experts Aquarium Polishing Filter Pad is an absolute must-have. It’s easy to use, highly effective, and delivers fantastic results in a short amount of time. My aquarium has never looked better! 💧 Highly recommend! Five stars for clear, clean, and healthy aquarium water!

My favorite filter pad. Cut to size. Inexpensive. Great quality. Highly recommended by lots of aquarium hobbyists. I put it in my Seachem HOB filter, behind my course sponge and Purigen. It filters the finest impurities.

I’ve tried so many drops and filters but putting this made it clear my tank was so green. We have catfish that are over a foot long (2) in 60 gal tank I’m surprised as how well this worked. It’s a big sheet and u cut to filter size

This product works well but it be nice if there was more of the product for the price. We do not re clean this filter we toss the old and put new in. We did try once to re use and clean but they don’t clean out well. It’s not worth fooling with to clean. We do like this product. We use this for our turtle tank.

Keeps my aquarium very clear
