12115 Folding Utility Knife with Premium Hardwood Handle Design

Same Knife as the "Craftsman" unit I carried for many years. This is a solid built unit, I personally recommend this knife to every one that see's it. Well built and beautiful.

Knife looks really good. Feels good in hand open position. Opening action is a little stiff. Could use some tweaking to make it easier to open single handedly. Knife clip could stand to use a re-design. Clip opening should be more low profile. Clip gets hung up and pulled out of pocket sometimes. Locking mechanism is great. Feels very sturdy. Blade locking design is a little different, but functional.

My only complaints and they're minor are that the corners of the wood were a little sharp, nothing a quick sand doesn't fix and that the spring is a little tight. The knife looks great and does what it should. I'm also impressed with Sheffield brand of blades. I've abused this knife pretty heavily from day one and haven't even need to flip the blade yet. I may order replacement blade from them in the future. very high quality and retains the edge. I love this knife.

I use this knife everyday at work, and it works great. I really like the safety mechanism that locks the blade in place. It’s got a nice weight to it and very durable. Overall a good value for your money. Con: The belt clip bent out on me pretty easily. Doesn’t really function anymore

This is a very solid ruggedly built, utility knife. It’s stainless steel and hardwood inlay. The blade holder is rigid yet easy to change the blade. You won’t want to leave this utility knife laying out at the warehouse because someone will lift it.

I went through many different knifes like this before I found this one. The others just couldn't hold up. Then my local Walmart stopped causing it but I was able to find it here. Great Knife, open easy enough with 1 hand, stays securely open and closed. For those of you who struggle to upen it without accidently opening the part that holds the blade in, then this knife might bot be for you. It's not to do, you might just not be coordinated enough. I can also easily close it one handed as well with an assist from my thigh to push it shut. Go the lady who wanted it for gardening and struggles to opeb and close it, maybe you should get one that you push the blade out and pull it back in with a finger, it is kinda hard to not be able to do that. For those that complained that it is too hard to open and close. A safe knife is one that you can't open too easily or close too easily. If it closes too easily then it isn't securely open and could close when you don't want it to.
