Good quality. Easy to cut, easy to apply. Rolls on easy. Good adhesive. Lowered the cabin road noise in my Mustang and lowered the cabin db of the exhaust. Installed with a full custom audio system. Would purchase again.

Use this on my 2026 Tesla model Y juniper for sound deadening inside the doors when I had them apart to install self presenting door handles and soft close door latches. There is essentially no sound deadening in the door other than a pathetic little piece of sticky foam right in the middle of the large expanse of sheet metal on the inner door as it comes from the factory. Despite them upgrading the new model Y with acoustic glass, I feel that internal door sound deadening such as this, is mandatory to prevent "tin canning". It seems to subjectively make a huge difference as my wife states that it is probably 80% less noisy in the car since I did this to all four doors. Highly recommend this as it is both effective and economical.

This is a good product. Many people go with KILMAT because of the value to price point. I did as well. When you clean the surface (in my case it was all painted metal) this stuff sticks very well. I do recommend you use a seam roller of some type, I used Lumiteco 3 piece roller set. This will help with adhesion and mostly flatten the overlapped edges. It also helps you see where you have rolled as it leaves little grooves. The difference when we had no sound mats and after was very impressive. We haven't finished our install yet and it is quieter than when we had an interior in the van. There are thicker mats available in other brands, but this will work great for our van build, but this helps keep the weight down. It is quality material, just be careful when you are removing the backing, the edge of the foil face can cut you. I suggest you layout where you are installing the mat and cut to fit. From what I have read, you don't need to cover every inch in the vehicle, just spot install for a big difference. I chose to cover most surfaces to help keep sound out when we are sleeping in the van. We haven't finished putting the van yet, but we have driven it around and been very satisfied with this product.

I used this in my 2rd gen Cummins. I had always heard about the added weight and whatnot (not that it matters in a diesel truck), but it wasn't overly heavy to me. I did a crew cab truck with 1.5 boxes, so the coverage per box is solid. It's easy to work with and adheres very well. I can tell a big difference from the cab drone now vs before, also a lot less rattles and shakes. Very glad I decided to do it.

Works pretty good. Reasonably priced compared to other name brands. Only thing to watch for is not to get the butyl to come through as its sticky and will get all over everything including your clothes.

This is an excellent alternative to other more expensive brands of sound deadening material. Placed this in the trunk space of my hatchback. It definitely stopped the rattles from my Kicker sub. There's also a little bit less road noise as well. Downside of the material is the weight of the but most sound deadeners will do that. It's a tradeoff you must accept. Overall - Great Product.

I used the KILMAT 80 mil 18 sqft pack on the wheel wells of my Ram ProMaster, and it was incredibly easy to work with. The material cuts and molds easily to any shape, rolls out smoothly with a roller tool, and sticks extremely well to the metal.

Really good product for the price, I used it on the doors in my 2008 civic SI. It sticks really well and does a good job of deadening vibrations and adding mass. It forms to things and cuts well, but still holds enough of a shape to not seem floppy or cheap. The doors seem a lot more solid and sound good when they close compared to before.

I purchased this for insulating both my door panels and the back of the door cards during my audio system install. I'm no expert, but this product was easy to cut, easy to install and had noticeable results. Road noise was reduced vastly, which was the main goal for this project.
