stretches out of shape
We only had this shade up for about a month and when it rained it actually held all the water and stretched out. Now it has no shape, just sags.

Keeps my Chickens Happy
Got this Shade Sail to put in my chicken run area to give my chickens some shade from our summer sun and to also keep them dry from the rain. We've had many days recently where we've had some crazy strong wind and this sail has held up like a champ with no wear or tear. It is water resistant and my chickens are happy with it and so am I.

best shade--so far
Used in pool cage and is the first one that really is water resistant, it must be emptied after a rain. It is set up to empty into pool and helps keep the water cool. Nice color and is part of several shades over the pool. Easy to hang and it looks nice with the sun on it.

Does exactly what you think it would do but you need to make it REALLY TIGHT...
This is a good product but when I first installed it, it sagged and caught many gallons of rainwater during an intense winter storm we had in Phoenix a while back. I ended up having to poke holes in it so the rainwater would drain out. You need to install this at a fairly steep angle and install it VERY TIGHT. I ended up running support lines above and below mine so it doesn't look like a big bulging tit holding a lot of water. You still have to push the rainwater off of it because I have no way of increasing the angle on mine, or making it much tighter.
