A game changer for aspiring home baristas
I've been having a blast dialing in various beans on my espresso machine with the K4 and a coffee scale/timer. Between the K4's fine click adjustments to get in the range and then adjusting dosages by a few 10ths of a gram, I've been able to nail some tasty espressos out of my inexpensive home machine. I had previously been working with a cheap electric burr grinder that I shimmed up to get a finer grind, but this K4 allows for way more adjustability and consistency and is magnitudes quieter. The quality seems very good and it operates smoothly. I've been grinding for espresso - around 65 clicks-( ADDENDUM- I descaled my espresso machine now need to grind around 45-60 ) and light roasts are very difficult to crank through, but medium and dark roasts are easy and enjoyable to grind by hand. FURTHER ADDENDUM- I've been using the K4 almost daily for 9 months and have upgrade to a 58mm heat exchange machine and the K4 continues to make great espresso (about 9 months of almost daily use.) I now grind finer to dial-in- around 38-55 clicks depending on the bean and freshness. ADDENDUM- I've been using a 19.2v drill for the difficult light espresso grinds and it makes the job quick and easy. ADDENDUM The K4 grinds light roasts fairly easily at 80 clicks for Aeropress and moka pot and easier yet at 160+ clicks for pour over. It helps to hold the grinder diagnally sideways so you can control how rapidly the beans enter the burr. The diagonal method takes a little longer but is much easier to crank. ADDENDUM I have since purchased a 1zpresso X Pro (more out of curiousity than neccesity), and comparing the two with my favorite medium roast espresso beans, I prefer the K4 because it gives a richer more chocolaty flavor and a thicker texture - This is how the K4 is advertised and why I bought it, so it lives up to the hype! However, the X Pro gives a cleaner, brighter flavor for light roast pour-overs (and also for medium roast espresso, but to me it comes across as a bit thin and watery) The X Pro is much easier to crank through light roast beans and requires almost no effort to grind medium and darker beans, but it takes more time as a trade off. I like having both so I can chose the best tool for the job. Have fun and thanks for reading all that!

Best Value Hand Grinder
I was searching for an affordable electric grinder that would work for espresso. Espresso needs to be ground finer and therefore most electric grinders are inadequate. Burrs need to be finer and the motor needs to have a higher torque. Most decent espresso grinders start @ 200 dollars. I secured a K4 for 88 bux well below my 100 budget. Several folks recommended various grinders, that were well outside my budget but they also recommended this one, which is made in Taiwan. I was reluctant at first but I'm quite happy with it. Hand grinding can be a bit of a chore when yer half awake but this one works quite well. Espresso roast beans are much easier than medium roast, I'll say that. The drier the bean, the easier it can be ground. The K4 has a better burr grinder set, similar to more expensive models and a fine adjustment that is easy to track with the hand dial. Also, it has a solid aluminum body. Rubber grip doesn't move but don't try to grind with wet hands. The lid attaches for hand use or you can opt to attach a cordless drill with the lid loose. I've used it for several months and the only issue is some static electricity causing the grinds to stick to underside. This is easily remedied by spritzing with water or stirring your beans with a damp teaspoon. A highly recommended grinder, this is the best value out there.

Excellent Hand Grinder
I bought a Dedica machine to get into making espresso. I bought a decent but not great burr grinder to grind my beans. No matter what I tried with that grinder, I just couldn't get a decent shot. It was more coffee than espresso. I debated getting a better, more expensive grinder but didn't want to pay hundreds of dollars and take up significantly more counter space. I researched hand grinders and found the KinGrinder line. I watched YouTube videos and read reviews and found that the company had been around for a while and had mostly decent reviews on all of their grinders. I got the K4. I got it dialed in and have been using it for several weeks now. I have pulled the best shots that I have ever done. I am still learning and experimenting. I realized that I was not getting grounds fine enough or consistent enough to make a decent espresso. This grinder can make fine powder to coarse grounds with excellent consistency. The K4 is solid and well-made with excellent materials. I am very impressed with it. It can be used for all grind sizes for coffee, spices, etc. It is easy to clean and fits perfectly in my coffee drawer. This is not a grinder for someone needing to make multiple coffee drinks back-to-back. It does have a shaft at the top to use a power drill. I am the only one in my house who drinks coffee so hand-grinding is perfect.

A moagem é bastante uniforme. O estranho é que com o café Rituais da Delta, tenha de moer com uma granulometria nos muito finos para o café sair a uma velocidade aceitável. A avaliação só desce por isso.

I didn't want to spend 500 euros plus on the electric grinder so bought this one, it works very well. this is really a good quality grinder. There are also negative sides like if I want really fine coffee, it is quite demanding. it's like a small workout. Also, the price for me was slightly high. is about 20-25 euros expensive. Also I find the adjustment is not perfect. the starting point for the adjustment keeps changing. These are some tradeoffs for not wanting to spend a lot on electric grinders. Otherwise happy with the product. Recommended.

My first manual grinder. Perfectly works for both espresso (Dedica EC685 + bottomless portafilter) and filter coffee. Also works for Turkish coffee, but getting the necessary fine grind needs some physical efforts. Preparing every cup of Turkish will turn into a small fitness exercise for you :) NB: the adjustment chart given in the product description pictures is wrong and misleading. The actual Turkish coffee grind is at 50 clicks, espresso is 80-90 clicks and filter coffee grind is around 120 clicks.
