The Junior is snugg and shorter. I have a long neck, the Adult was more of my fit, when having it over my face. The Junior was snug, very form fitting and stayed up over my face easier when active. I wear it under Under Armour Storm tops w/o a drawstring. I originally thought I would buy something heavier - but this worked wonderfully. If it is really cold, I pull it up over my mouth and nose. At a higher temperature It will start to get too warm and then I switch to a non-wool Buff. Probably once the temps reach the high 40's. I've had no problems with it. Would highly recommend.
