## Description

Designed for use on light trucks and SUVs, the Terra Hunter X/T from Venom Power is an all-terrain tire that features an aggressive tread pattern with angled grooves and open shoulders for consistent self-cleaning of mud, dirt, rocks, stones, and other debris. The Terra Hunter X/T is backed by a 50,000 mile limited manufacturer tread life, and also features a reinforced construction and rubber compound that increase strength, durability, and puncture resistance.

Review: Love these tires!!! - This is my first time ever buying NON brand name tires and they are truly amazing! First, I want to describe my driving habits, road conditions and what I drive. I have 4 Door Nissan Titan 4X4 with a leveling kit on it and after market LS rear diff. Prior to these tires I had Nitto Terra Grappler G1 and G2. I thought the G2 tires was going to my last set of tires before I move on to another truck, but that did not happen. The G2 was hands down the worst set of tires I have ever owned, that story will go in a different review. I am in Norther California, I most of time it is sunny and drive weather with rain in the winter and some occasional trips in the snow. I do push the truck in cornering either through the mountain curves or street corners and these tires stick very well. It does not squirl or make noise when cornering either. When the winter rain came in, that is where I was truly amazed. I never had any tires, including BF Goodrick TA KO stick as well as these tires. It “almost” feels like I was in 4-wheel drive when accelerating in the rain. Considering 90% of my driving is in this kind of condition, that is why I love these tires. But there are a few cons about these tires. The first thing is the noise. Without a doubt they are louder than most typical AT tires, but I knew that would happen. Just look at the treads, how can any tires with that aggressive tread be quiet. Is noise that bad? No, not at all. For it being an XT tire, I would say it is just about right, louder than AT but quieter than MT. In most driving speeds it tracks well for being XT tires. Even at higher speeds I never had any issues with it pulling or have any “excessive” wobbles. What that means is that I notice a little bit of vibration on the steering wheel especially at higher speeds. And No, it does get worse as you go faster. As of now, I only put about 3,000 miles on the tires, so it difficult to tell about the longevity. The tires feel very soft so I do NOT think I will get anywhere near the estimated 50,000 mile tread life. For example, the Nitto Terra Grappler G1 lasted 33K miles and the G2 lasted 22K. If you cannot decide between a XL or LT tire, make sure you get LT. This pretty much goes with any brand tires because I make the mistake on getting XL for my full size try (4 door Full size Pick – around 5000lbs curb weight) and that might be the reason why I hate the Nitto Terra Grappler G2 tires so much. One final note and that is the ride comfort. The truck now feels a lot smoother and it soaks up all the little bumps. Even though it rides a little louder, I was amazed how smooth it feels. Even if I get horrible tread life with these tires, I will definitely buy them again because I really like how it rides and grips.

**Q: I have a 265 70 17 on my F150 but Amazon says it wont fit on my truck. Please advise**
A: If you have doubts that the tires will fit your vehicle, we strongly recommend to contact your installer for confirmation or stick to the size you currently have mounted on your vehicle. The software we use has its limitations and is not 100% correct due to incorrect data provided by vehicle and tires manufacturers. Therefore we do not guarantee that a certain size will fit any vehicle as data is not 100% reliable.

**Q: Will tires work on 26x16 rim**
A: To be 100% sure, please check with your installer for the correct size of your tires. 
As they will be able to measure the inside of the vehicle to tell you accurately every possible tire size that you could put on the vehicle.

**Q: Are they retreads?**
A: No, they’re the original tread from when I first purchased them.

**Q: Are these tires a actual 33x12.5 because product dimensions say 31x31x11**
A: The tires are indeed 33/12.50R20.  The dimensions 31x31x11 are inaccurate and have been reported.

This is my first time ever buying NON brand name tires and they are truly amazing! First, I want to describe my driving habits, road conditions and what I drive. These tires are great,I could not be happier with them. They look fantastic on my truck and I received them 4 days after I purchased them.There is a bit of road noise but not a deal breaker at all. The ride is smooth, I highly recommend trying these!

I just had these installed on my 2002 Chevy Silverado 3500LT Crew Cab 4WD Duramax a few hours ago, but already I’m very impressed with these tires. I asked the clerk at my go-to tire shop what he thought of these tires. He said he’s heard a lot of negative comments about balance, vibrations and the like. He said if they balance, they should be just fine and at the price point, they’re very hard to beat. The shop did a road-force balance and all 6 tires balanced out fine. These LT235/85-R16 XT tires are replacing my Michelin highway tires that were 215/85-R16, Load Range-E tires that were fairly worn. Out the door, I noticed a much softer ride. Things like lane reflectors, painted stop lines and small road imperfections virtually disappeared. I could feel each of these with my highway tires. There’s a slight hum to the tires at speeds over 40ish, but it’s actually a pleasant hum. It reminds me of a much muted Nitto Mud Grappler lug whine as I have on my lifted Jeep TJ on 37’s. I just took my wife for a quick Interstate highway trip of about 10 miles. The tire whine is barely noticeable at cruising speed, only when I decelerate am I able to really hear it at all. Perhaps my truck being straight-piped and having a quality aftermarket sound system is why the tire sound is not that noticeable. 😉 My biggest concern was having the dreaded vibration at speed. I have ZERO vibration at any speed up to 85mph. Oh, and the truck tracks perfectly straight at that speed, too! I’m good with that!!! 😄 I plan on putting some hub-centric spacers on, front and rear, in the near future as these 235 are a little too close together on the rear. I have about 3/8-1/2” between the sidewalls. If I need to load the truck with a lot of weight, I fear the sidewalls may touch. I had taken this into account though when I bought these tires. I’ll update with anything interesting in a few days…I’m going from Florida to Nashville tomorrow to pick up a large grill trailer that we had made for our church's. From my experience thus far, I highly recommend these Venom Power Terra Hunter XT tires!!! 😄
