Nice Addition to Lighting Package
I purchased this light after seeing lots of rave reviews, and specifically some comparing this light to a Kino Flo Diva, which I own.The Falcon Eyes RX-18T is a nice light, and it is certainly lightweight and more transportable than the Kino Flo Diva. Thanks to the lighter weight, the Falcon Eyes can be supported by very lightweight stands also, such as the Manfrotto 5001B Nano. However, the stand mount adapter supplied in this Falcon Eyes kit is not very useful for mounting on a light stand due to a limited range of motion -- basically capable of aiming the panel straight up at the ceiling through a tilt range of 90 degrees, parallel to the wall. Any critical positioning of this light will require some time of boom arm, and a stand suitable for that kind of offset load. I've seen some reviewers online using a studio microphone boom adapted to give this light a wide range of positioning. I have not tested this Falcon Eyes panel on a mic boom, but in an application involving transportation for location work, my concern with such improvised configurations is too many miscellaneous pieces, making it too easy to leave something behind and the whole proposition of a lightweight, easily transportable light becoming lost in a solution that is too cluttered to use successfully.Kino Flo Diva fixtures are incredibly lightweight, but the sum total of a two light kit with stands, spare tubes, accessories, and road case becomes a real handful for a single person crew -- especially considering I typically use Matthews roller stands with boom arms, magic fingers, and shot bags with the Diva kit. The Matthews stands bundles inside the Diva road case are workable, barely. Still, Diva lights are too bulky for air travel, and their case is bulky even inside a Chevy Suburban.I have not yet setup the Falcon Eyes RX-18T next to a Diva for comparison, but if I were guessing, I'd say the Falcon Eyes seems a little smaller with a bit less output. Particularly when combined with the egg crate light shaping accessory available from Falcon Eyes, the output of this flexible panel does not seem sufficient for use as a key in a single person interview situation, except for tight shots.Without the egg crate (not included with this kit), the output of the panel is more impressive, though the near 180 degree beam spread is going to need some control in most situations.I like this light. I like the price, and I like how easy it is to transport. What I don't like is maybe a few extra minutes of rigging once on location, stretching the panel on the frame, and installing all the velcro pieces. While the light quality appears excellent once diffusion is added, I do not think this light approaches the build quality of Kino Flo. Specifically, the ballast unit seems cheap, and in fact I had to return the first light I ordered to Amazon when the ballast failed within the first 15 minutes after unboxing the light. My replacement unit arrived yesterday. Anybody purchasing this light, I would advise to burn in for 8 hours or so before taking it on a job.My comments are preliminary since the light only just arrived, and I have done no shooting or actual comparison with other fixtures, such as Kino Flo Diva.

Great Customer Service & A Great Product
I used this as my key light for many of my videos and interview shots. Then, the power started to get a little wacky (flickering etc.). I contact customer support and they sent me another power module. That worked well for a little while but that too eventually went bust. I mailed it back to China and they sent me a new unit. So, if having customer support based in the United States is a priority for you, then this seller may not be the best fit. I, however, didn't find it taxing. You'll just receive emails in the middle of the night. Overall, great product. Would recommend it to anyone starting out needing a solid key light at a super discounted price.

Love this light. Very versatile and great output.
This has become my new go-to light for documentary work. It's got a great intensity. I love the versatility of the light. I have rigged it inside a car and it help up great with the outside light. I highly recommend this light. Funny enough, the only thing that bother me regarding this is the packaging. It also doesn't come with any instructions so you have to figure out how to set up the softboxes. It's pretty easy, but it was annoying the first time you try to set it up. The knob for the dimmer also came off, but I can live without it. The quality and versatility of the light overcomes all of these little things.

SOFT light, very light weight, amazing value
I purchased this to provide overhead lighting to a table top setup, and it is fantastic. Easy to use, decent build quality and really soft light. I can use one of these fixtures and light myself and the table top when arranged properly. The included softbox is a pretty good design and really controls the light well. Even without the softbox installed, the light is very soft and does not really cause the typical multiple shadow LED trademark. I would appreciate more power, but this is enough for a small studio like mine. It is light enough that I can rig it up with a simple pipe clamp, it does not require the strength of a super clamp. Just a simple articulating arm and a simple clamp. The light weight really makes it incredibly versatile. The included power supply is pretty small for this size panel, although the bi-color version appears to require the larger unit. Over all, I am really impressed with this lighting system and will be buying a few more smaller ones and perhaps even the 24" model.

Great lights.
Light output is really nice. Unfortunately I had to return these because they are a bit to cumbersome to travel with. Too many pieces to put together and much bulkier than I expected. Might have been easier with the battery option. I used them for a headshot session and really like the results. I mostly got these because of the softbox option. Most LED lights are targeted at videographers and I wanted something for portraiture so the light has to be softer. Still I would recommend them. Build quality is great and light output is wonderful.

Dont waste your time
The light is nice and has a nice quality. But I purchased 2 of them and within the year of regular video production travel the control boxes have quit working properly. You get what you pay for. If it was just sitting in a studio it may be longer lasting. But I couldn't even get a full year of good operation out of them.
