My wife drives a 2015 Honda CRV with 140K miles. Several months ago, I noticed it was losing oil, but I could find no leaks. I did some research online and found this is an issue with CRV’s of certain years, including the 15’s. The information I found on some of the Honda forums pointed to stuck piston rings, which allows for oil to blow by, and then be burned in the cylinder. I checked the inside edge of the tailpipe on our CRV and sure enough, found remnants of oil. Many owners experiencing the oil loss issue suggested using BG EPR. It was said to remove deposits and free up the rings on the pistons which would then solve (or improve) the oil loss issue. I used the EPR product per the instructions, relaced with fresh oil and filter, and added a can of the BG MOA oil additive. It has been 2 weeks, and roughly 800 miles. The oil level has remained the same over this period, but I’m not convinced at this point BG fixed the issue. I think it will take a few thousand miles before I know for sure. What I can tell you for certain is this, the oil is so clean, I have had a difficult time reading the level on the dipstick. I mean, it is as clear as it was coming directly out of the bottle. It’s crazy. At first, I thought it was a quart low, but after closer inspection, oil was in fact showing on the stick, but it was so clean it was hard to see. This product absolutely cleaned things up internally. That I have no doubt. Additional note: BG EPR is very strong stuff. I wanted to be sure that I got all of it out of the engine before replacing with new oil and filter. So, when I drained the oil (containing BG EPR), I refilled the engine with Walmart brand synthetic oil and a $5 Napa oil filter. Then I went out and drove the car for about 30 minutes. Then I drained the oil, removed the filter, and refilled engine with Valvoline Synthetic and a Napa Gold filter. Some may consider this extra step as going overboard and costly, but I wanted to get all of the BG product out of the engine before refilling with clean oil.

This is the second time I've used both items first was about 13 years ago and the difference it made was unbelievable the car just felt like a new motor, I've driven new cars for a long time now so haven't had to think about it, but last year I bought a 3year old Kuga 44k on it, I used the EPR & MOA and again it made such a difference smooth running feels like it's got i bit more life about it, well worth it 👌 😀

This stuff is a really great product, cleans out your engine, and is highly recommended by a lot of mechanics. If you’re ordering this stuff from Amazon, don’t expect it to show up for quite a while, waited almost a month. Great price for this pack of two , pretty well half price that you would pay if you can buy it from the shop. This stuff is not sold in retail outlets.

BG 440 is best fuel additive I used , I was on a forum. They said it was penicillin for my Toyota Sequoia Limited 2003. 245 Miles . You can definitely get that one too ! These I’m trying out , so far I have used the MOA after an oil change. Seems to work fine, my SUV runs like a sewing machine before and after so no problems. I went ahead and got the EPR engine performance restoration to try now before my oil change. If there’s anything like. BG 440. Then I’ll be very happy! Lyk if anything changes. So far so good, I’m running it through now . I’ll update my post soon if I have more to add . I’ve tried everything. LUCAS fuel treatment. Seafoam. Marvel mystery Oil. So far BG products are a little more expensive but they sure work great. I decided to stay with them after 220 miles. And 245 k now and my Sequoia runs sewing machine. Knock on wood.
