Where is the new expiration date

Dudes, this was what explained to me in May of 2020:

"When the product first came out the FDA required the expiration date. After a few years the requirement was dropped. The expiration is 3 years from the manufacturing date that is on the tube.

You just need to look at the first 4 digits of the manufacturing code. I will use todays date as an example. If it was manufactured today it would read 8E0XXXXX. Disregard all the other numbers. So the 8 is the day of the month, the letter E stands for May and the alphabet starts with A as January and continues for each month, skipping the letter I. The last number is for the year it was manufactured, using the last digit of that year. So this code means it was manufactured the 8th day of May 2020. Hope that makes sense, I know it is a bit confusing."

The batch code contains the manufactured date. On the end of the tube, where it is crimped, is the batch code. If you could please email that to us at consumers@slginc.com we can respond with the expiration. The shelf life is 3 years unopened.
