These are very much more expensive than the the flat press and seal style silicone bags so I was a little hesitant to splash out the price difference for these at first. But I'm so glad that I did. The closing seals are sturdy and, unlike my flat style press and seal silicone bags, these havent lost their ability to locate and seal perfectly...even after much use and very hot hand washing. Thanks to their wide base they drain and dry easily. Despite their comparatively high cost, I think their ease of use and functionality make them decent value for money. They won't need replacing anytime in the near future. The don't appear to have stained so far either, so after six weeks of heavy use (one as a lunch bag in a joinery workshop and the other in a very, very busy kitchen) they are still in the same condition as they were when brand new.

They’re very handy and help me store my salça (tomato purée) and butter in the freezer without any hassle.

These are great silicone bags with an oversized seal that should last. The shape is a bit of a double edged sword (they resemble a handbag) with an open mouth and a flat bottom. You can load stuff into them but you have to get to the bottom when you clean them. They are halfway between a really good bag and a really good box.

Bought to store frozen pre portioned block of meals. Great quality and soft silicone. I like that they can be washed in the dishwasher and they are easy to seal up/open. I’ve managed to store at least 4 blocks of frozen 250ml food.

Lovely bags but after washing drying and sealing they have swollen up filled up with some kind of gas. Scared to use them now

Sturdy and strong

I initially went looking for these when I realised that as a family we'd started using lots of single-use food bags. I turned to bags regularly because it was easier than finding the right tupperware for leftovers (the right size and not too big or it would take up too much room in our small fridge), or avoiding overloading the kids bags with lots of plastic boxes when given snacks or picnics for outings.I have honestly been able to get rid of most of our tupperware now, as these bags meet the same needs while being way more flexible. The space to store these bags when clean is minimal in comparison - even though I've invested in a few bags of different sizes - and it's effortless to chuck a small one into a school bag, or even dump pasta or soup leftovers into the bigger, flat-bottomed bags to go in the fridge or freezer.I haven't tried using them in the oven, but have in the microwave, and send them through the dishwasher regularly. They do need to sit open for a while to properly dry out after washing (compared to tupperware with the big openings), but for me that's a trade-off I'll happily make.It's also true that these are not cheap, and I'll admit I didn't try any of the less expensive options off Amazon before investing in these. But the pay-off in hassle has been worth it for me, and more to the point I really do hope that these will last (and be used) for many years, at which point the cost against single-use freezer bags will have fully evened out.If you're considering this purchase, I would say start with a couple and hopefully you will find they are as time-saving as I have!

Expensive, purchase. Works well to freeze left overs such as precooked fish or meat. Washes really well, may need leave soapy warm or hot water to get ride of odour etc. Can yous in microwave to heat up left food , sauce etc. Helps to reduce the use of cling film, foil etc.
