Order a half size down when ordering. These run wide and long, but mainly wide. They're a bit flat, but I'm also only used to running shoes. I like the comfort of the sock lining.I normally wear a size 9 in women's, I had to order a size 8.5 in women's.

I wear a size 8. I've bought a few pairs of Adidas recently and I'm a 9 with this company. The shoes run narrow, and they don't have a standardized size system for their shoes, that I can identify. With Adida hiking boots, I'm a 9-1/2. When I find the size that fits, these are very comfortable and work for my semi-active needs. They do provide the cushioning and support that makes activity not painful, and I have arthritic ankles. I just wish the sizing were more comprehensive.

Wore these shoes for a trip to South America. Did a lot of city walking in them in addition to taking on the tough trails we hit in Patagonia. Did not break them in as much as I should have, but it wasn’t a problem at all. Did 12+ miles/day with no blisters and no issues.They truly check all the boxes: supportive, breathable, water resistant, lightweight, comfy, and still sporty looking. Highly recommend!

I hike both casually and longer distances. I did some day hikes in these before a big hike and all was fine. But after a fifty mile weekend hike with a 30lb pack BOTH my ankles were torn to shreds. I switched to different boots, went back to these after a couple of weeks and after donning different socks, 14 days of epson salt foot baths, Neosporin, 2nd skin… and they were chewed up again. Sadly I am heading out on another hike, 300 miles and leaving these behind in the dust.
