good heat distribution, well constructed, good deal - better than the high-end brands
Great egg pan - Turned to Amazon and came across this MSMK brand. Good reviews, good price. This pan has a thicker, flat, bottom, requiring a little more time to heat up, but retains heat well. The nonstick is effortless, and I use this every week for eggs with no problem. The handle is comfortable and easy to grip.The pan is easily hand-washable. I have not used it in the oven at all, haven't needed to, surprised the description says it can sustain 700F and a dishwasher - I am not about to test those claims as other brands made similar claims and have had to adjust theirs. The lid is a nice touch, for making sunny-side ups. We had purchased Calphalon nonstick pans for our glass cooktop a couple years back. All of them warped, with a big bubble in the middle. As I submit warranty claims with Calphalon, I picked up this one to hold us over. Well now, I'm contemplating completing the set with a 10" and the sauce pots.
