Excellent cover
This is a really nicely made and reasonably heavyweight cover. It fits perfectly on my garden parasol. There are no straggly threads and its well finished throughout. The zipper slides up and down effortlessly. Trouble is its been in situ for 2 months now and its only rained once in that time and even then it was just over 1mm, so I can't vouch for its waterproof-ness. But it looks good and I have no reason to suspect it will not give very decent rain protection - if it ever rains again:) Gieat value for money

Well made, attractive, waterproof
Final revision: These were purchased December 2022 and have done a great job until now, July 2025. The covers have perished and the tops of our umbrellas are poking through. Maybe 2.5 years of Melbourne weather is about all we could expect. I am revising my earlier review (below) as despite my initial misgivings the cover has proved to be waterproof, phew. I won't know about the durability / longevity of the fabric for at least a year, so I'm giving the item five stars for now. Only two stars so far as I'm not sure whether the fabric will prove to be "water resistant" (listing title) or "waterproof" (about this item / 6th listing photo). See photos: the second photo shows the inside of the fabric, which feels lighter than I expected and doesn't scream "waterproof" to me. Time and a strong downpour will tell. As you can see, the cover fits beautifully - I'd thought it might be a bit long but happily it's not - and it appears to be very well made. If the cover proves to be waterproof then I'll revise my review and give it five stars.
