Not a very good unit
Boy the the 1600 last August, it had an issue when the brake pedal was released the trailer brakes would grab for just a moment. Russell sent another one to me. It worked great for 3 months and crapped the bed on me. Russell sent another and it has the brake grab pro just like the first one. Asked for my money back and he was a real jerk. Steer clear of this product
