The prongs don't slide in and out out so essentially a fork could do the same

It does the job. Very easy to clean to shelf of dishwasher.

Difficult to use
Be careful as the blades are very sharp. The only issue that I have with this is that it's very difficult to use. The spring is very tight and you really have to punch the meat for it to go even just a little bit. I had to get the blades out manually just to be able to use the blades.

This made our pretty tender. Be careful with it! Use it on a cutting board (for heavens sake not on your countertops!)

Makes quick work of Tenderizing Meat
I've found that using the Hello Grill Meat Tenderizer Tool after Seasoning (especially if some liquid seasoning is incorporated into the mix) the Meat helps to distribute some of the seasonings into the Muscle as well to enhance the overall flavor.

A must have for steak lovers
This meat tenderizer is a game changer. We used it on sirloin steaks and then marinaded some... The results were amazing. The flavor of the marinade came through so much more with the tenderized steaks, and the meat was very tender. Very, very happy with this purchase.
