Innersense Organic Beauty - Natural True Enlightenment Scalp Scrub | Clean, Non-Toxic Haircare (6.7 oz)

I don’t leave a lot of reviews. I really love this scrub though. I’ve used a couple innersense products for a few years now. I love that they’re non toxic and work amazing. I live in Colorado, I’m mixed so I have curly/soft/fine hair that has a tendency towards dryness. I get a really itchy scalp sometimes, I’m sure all the curl creams and gels probably don’t help even though they’re good quality. The second I use this scrub (and I do the detox mask after) my scalp stops itching. It feels clean and fresh I don’t know how else to explain it. Anyways definitely recommend this if you want your head to feel clean af. It does something that shampoo just can’t (I do use shampoo after by the way)

I purchased to help with an itchy scalp. It's expensive but the amount in the jar will last for awhile. I sectioned my hair after wetting and used on my scalp. The peppermint fragrance is nice and not overpowering, and it is cooling on the scalp. It's working so far, no itchy scalp issues after using.

I absolutely am in love with this product. I use it about once a week, it smells great, clarifies my hair and scalp. I follow it up with the shampoo and conditioner from the same line. I leave the conditioner on with a heated cap for 20-30 minutes before rinsing out. It makes my hair super soft and helps my curls to clump. You don't use much each time, so while it's an initial investment to purchase, it lasts a really long time. I purchased on 6/24/24 and I'm barely down to 1/2 a jar.

I really love this product. I have color treated hair that I'm notoriously bad at upkeep for, but I think it makes for a wild combination of color treated hair, virgin hair, and a sensitive scalp that gets exposed to some wild chemicals. My dyed hair and natural hair react differently to product and my poor scalp is just along for the ride. I love that this product has fewer crazy ingredients and it smells like a pepperminty wonderland. Application is a little tricky with longer and especially wet hair, but sectioning helps and I use it with one of those rubber/silicone spikey head massagers to help work it into my scalp. It doesn't feel harsh at all and the cooling effect of the peppermint is so nice. I get weird buildup and this just feels like a really great, gentle, but also invigorating reset. I'm really pleased with this product and the brand in general. I'll purchase again when I run out.

I purchased this as part of a regimen to combat some serious hair shedding I am experiencing. I think it has to do with having had Covid, but whatever the reason I am trying to get it to stop...or at least slow down! I used this for the first time today. I looked for specific treatment directions on the packaging and all it said was that it was a pretreatment before cleansing the hair. I applied it, making1 inch sections or so, all over my scalp. I left it on approximately 30 minutes. I rinsed it out, washed my hair with Innersense Hairbath and conditoned with Innersense conditioner. Holy moly, my hair has so much body and lift at the root! Who knew there was so much (of whatever) up there weighing everything down. I still had a handful of hair that came out, but I'm hoping as I move forward it will be less and less. For now I am ecstatic! (I also used the Innersense Leave in Conditioner and the Innersense "I Create Shine" Glossing Serum. My hair is so soft right now! Love love love!!)
