Didn't work on Verizon for this girl
Loved the phone. Too bad it didn't work on Verizon. I am not a techie by any means...so there is that. BUT, we switched the SIM from the phone we were using on Verizon directly into this phone. The phone "worked" for a few hours (could receive calls, could text but only received responses from select few numbers) then the phone just would not work. Tried using a brand new SIM card, same issue. Called Verizon was told this phone wouldn't work on the network. Now, again, for someone who knows tech better than me---you may be able to figure this out. CLEARLY it would partially work for a bit---so i am sure it's a Verizon thing-not a this phone thing. Shame, we liked the phone, sad to not be able to use it.

The Bad: Poor touch response
The Bad: Poor touch response, cheap/sweat shop software feel (notifications, built in apps, etc..), special inputs ( standard 3.5 headphone or usb c cables will not work with this phone. They must be longer than normal and to date blackview doesnt sell things like AUx cables), It's heavy, apps sign up out frequently on this phone. NO CALLS OVER WIFI optionThe Good: Doubles as a hammer, if put in a sock it can be used for self defense, Cam be used as a hockey puck substitute, looks cool.Returned. Pass on this one

Works in Argentina with Personal 4G
The cellphone works good in Argentina with Personal as a carrier. Working 4G.It's a good phone, it works fine. Many times it restarted, but nothing else that i can see wrong.I just having some problems with the compass that i can't fix it with the correcto North.It comes with 2 protective screen glass, that makes it perfect quality when we talk in care things.Continuing testing...

Loved it in the beginning, now hate it.
Had it for 2 days now and so far so good. After breaking my windows phone Lumia 950 screen 3 times, I decided to look into "rugged/durable" phones and instantly liked this model when I came across it. The price is right, the specs were great, and it had the recent version of android. I will try to update this review over time. Caution: Mine arrived with a European style plug charger. I'm not even sure they make a USA version as I have not seen one in Amazon or AlliExpress, however you can plug the USB-C cord into a standard charger to work. That does bring up the second caution. I like to have several USB-C cords available for my phone: the car, the office, home, etc. Since the phone is IP68 rated, it has a thick case surrounding it, which requires the male part of the USB-C cord to be longer than standard cables to reach the charging port on the phone. Regular USB-C cables will have the male part too short to work. I could only find extras for sale on AliExpress.**Update 11/13/17: At first I was impressed when I received two updates to the software, I felt that they were actively involved in their product support. That view didn't last long as the only way you can contact them for tech support is through the Forum. I don't mind working through the forum if it works. I have been trying to post tech support topics for over a month and each time all I get is that it was successfully submitted and is waiting for administrator approval. Nothing ever happens. I see other people posting all the time. I tried to create a new account on the forum, same issues. I have tried to reach Blackview using the website contact form for over a month, nothing. I have tried to the use the Skype links they have on the contact us page, nothing. The latest update has made the Bluetooth phone call quality terrible to where it is crackling, garbled, and sometimes cuts off. I loved this phone in the beginning, but I am having buyers remorse.

Failed to be water proof
I am having areally bad experince the phone claimed to be water proof but unfortunately it stopped working after water splash i am wondering if there is any waranty

Black view 8000 pro on cricket
Great phone....rugged and internal specs are on par....worth the purchase....spent the first day doing numerous ota update ...took awhile..... Would highly recommend this.....rugged great specs....battery last no problem camera decent speaker is amazing....buy it no regrets.....just no real cases yet

this phone is a piece of crap.
i bought it two months ago for myself but now it resets itself every few hours. Al first i thought that i was over heating the phone by running 3 or 4 apps at ones but it reset itself when it was on the table for few hours and nothing was running in the background. Don't buy it... you will regret it.
