Absolutely delicious!
OMG this is the best tasting commercial vegan kimchi I've ever had (by a long shot)! It's the perfect amount of sour, umami, spice, and crunchiness. If I wasn't concerned about my health, I could eat this 3 times a day, daily. It's so tasty!

Prefered the bagged version
Not the same as the bagged single serving kimchi. Strong bitter taste & bad texture vs the bagged version

Great!
I haven't eaten a lot of kimchi, but I have made my own and experimented with the level of heat in it and have also eaten it when I've eaten at a Korean-style restaurant. This canned version is very convenient and very good! Typically, I don't care for canned vegetables, as they are mushy; however, the cabbage in this canned version is surprising crunchy, and the level of heat is great to eat by itself, mix in with spicy chicken, or alongside of white or brown rice or eggs. I love having unusual foods in my pantry at my convenience, rather than having to go out to get a certain food item. If you like kimchi, or have always wanted to try it, you'll be very happy with this!

I was surprised!
I am a college student in Puerto Rico & bought this kimchi because it is very hard to find authentic kimchi here on island. I was very excited about the purchase but also anxious because of the reviews that said that it was just pure liquid but I have to disagree… I am vegetarian so in the States I would never purchase kimchi that had animal products and this kimchi tastes absolutely amazing for being in a can. Unfortunately, the price is expensive for the size of the can but it’s perfect for camping or if you’re going to eat only a little bit at a time. I eat kimchi for its probiotics effects so it lasts me a pretty long time. I suggest putting it in the freezer before you open it. Once it’s cold, open and try it. Taste really good!

Good kimchi
I have tried a few different store bought as well as homemade kimchi recipes and this is the best I have had so far. I would love to practice the craft/art of kimchi making but it can get expensive to keep trying only to not like the taste. Until I am able to learn how to correctly make it myself, this will be my kimchi.
