It has literally everything. Details on other factions? Check. Monster stats? Check. Rules for players and gamemasters (or storyteller in this game)? check. Its a one book buy, I only bought the module book to help get ideas for an adventure which I totally recommend buying Lines Drawn In Blood because it comes with five adventures. This is all coming from a new player, I have been playing D&D 5e for years now and seeing a game that sells basically everything in one book is such a nice change from how WOTC dose things with their books. Always pumping out content in different books so your forced to buy them if you want to know how to run their game or want all the lore.

If you're reading this then you probably already know what this is. It's a great book as far as the content goes. I was kind of surprised to see the orange black white artwork. Haven't found a group to actually use it yet, but it's a great concept and genre.

Love the book. I have Vampire V5 and Werewolf 5e and intend on getting sorcerer if they come out with that for my mass game across the whole series. My only complaint is the book looks like it was slammed into something and THEN packed with someone knowing its damaged. The box was in perfect condition so someone is purposely putting damaged books into the box. Update: Got the new book and it's flawless.

It's a great book and I'm super happy with it. Beautiful layout and a clear, simple game design like V5. I'm quite glad they kept the same design language from that game. I think the game is on the edge of not quite offering enough options for characters but ultimately I think it nails what it wanted to do quite well. I think comparisons to Hunter the Vigil that some people keep making are fair and I will say that if I was a to run a huge Hunter campaign that lasted for dozens of sessions across multiple years of play, I would totally choose HtV. The thing is... i don't run those campaigns anymore. I want stuff that's more contained. HtV has numerous moving parts and many subsystems, tons of lore. It's... not easy to run. I did back in the day (12-15 years ago) and it was a blast but it wasn't easy. Today, I want something more casual. Not super casual like Monster of the Week (which I like and offers up some great gaming moments) because there's just not enough 'system' to grab onto for me. (and I've run that a bunch for short term or single-session play but frankly the game engine gets very boring for me and my usual groups). This new version of HtR hits a great sweet spot. If I want to run a one-shot, or a 3-shot or a campaign of limited length... say... 20-30 sessions, I would choose this new version of HtR. It's a very sleek game that won't take me a ton of time to get up and running and maintain.

Great system. Works very well to help play out the ever increasing danger of hunting. Makes a for a very unique story.

Been a huge fan of WoD for a good, long while. Finally got this book. The book and game are fantastic. If you're already a fan of the WoD5, or looking to get into it, this is a great book to get for the Hunter side of the splats. I'm not sure why whoever ships these books decided to ship it in a thin "bubble wrap" baggy, but it's terrible. If you're ordering from Amazon, you're taking a chance on getting a NEW book in NEW condition. While my book wasn't as battered as bad as some reviews on here (and Amazon reviews in general), it is still a bit annoying and could, totally, have been avoided.

Don't buy this book from Amazon if you don't want your book to look as though it was used to bludgeon a stone wall and possibly a metal pole. It was shipped in a thin bubble wrap bag that did next to nothing to protect it. Minus one star for the sad state of Amazon shipping. Also...the publisher decided not to include a PDF code with the book, which means you end up having to spend twice as much money for the content than with many other publishers because this particular publisher also decided to price the PDF at a premium price. Minus one star for corporate greed. The actual game itself is clean and well laid out for the most part and reminds me of Vampire 2nd edition in its ease of reading and accessing the presented information. I also appreciate that this also very much reminds me of the original Hunters Hunted way back in the 90s, meaning that it feels much more grounded and realistic.

I'm not the only one with this complaint, the cover was almost right off, it was in horrible condition, bent and creased.
