Not bad
So far so good. For the price I'm glad i purchased. May not the best but it does the job. Use oil when drilling and it should be fine and will last longer. I personally use WD40 and works great..hold the drill vertically straight. :)

drill bit is decent, but nothing too special
pros:it cuts, has a sharp edge. got the job done - price, beats home depotcons: the grip where the drill attaches to, is circular, not D shaped or non circular. so it sometimes loses grip, thus drill bit sometimes disconnects.

Once again, it's metric, not standard.
These chinese companies really need to learn the difference, but we can work with it. Works for sheet metal, wood, etc.

Short life, low quality, “one and done”
Did not hold up well. I only used the bit once and now it will not cut on the 1” size. You should only plan to use this for soft thin metal. If you plan to drill a lot of holes, skip this one and buy one made in the USA.

Drilled the perfect size hole in a metal face plate
Worked perfectly for the application I needed it for. I was not sure about the quality and longevity, I really needed something for a one part of my DIY light project. Drilled the perfect size hole in a metal face plate for the photocell to fit.

worthless
This bit would not even cut through plastic, I have several different uni bits and all work well but this one is worthless. The company contacted me and gave me back my purchase price so I raised the overall rating from 1 star for service. I didn't contact them. 2 stars for service.

Not sharp enough for Oak!!
bit looked the part, but getting an 1-1/8" diameter stepped hole was nearly impossible. Nearly ran my drill motor out. each hole took well over 2-3 minutes to complete. I had to reset holes, and redo on numerous passes. Simply not sharp enough. My project got done, but took way too much effort, strength and time.

Great product
I didn't know how easy it is to step up a size bigger hole until now. Why didn't I get this before?

Very happy with the purchase
Purchased initially to drill through the steel bucket on my Kubota tractor. I was surprised the task required less effort than I expected and the drill bit worked well. Subsequently have used for several tasks, the step is a great feature as it handled multiple different requirements.

Easily cut through stainless steel sink
Used this bit to chew threw a stainless steel sink and leave me a perfect 1-1/2" hole with about a minutes effort.

Worked well for my project
I purchased this step bit to drill three 1" holes in a 55 gallon steel drum to make an Ugly Drum Smoker. I am not sure I'll use it again so I can't really rate on if it this bit will keep performing with regular use but I was really pleased with how well it chewed through the drum and made nice clean holes.

This thing is more dull than a 17 year old 3rd grader.
Had to make a 1/4" hole on a sheet metal door. Figured i'll try my brand new step bit. Nah it just scratches a small circle. Used a 1/4" bit instead, but due to a poorly measured starting point it needed to be opened a tad more. Tried again and all it succeeded in doing was making a nice counter sink. Too bad the hardware is just through bolts. Canadian tire junk was sharper than this. Drill a hole through the shaft and you got yourself a hefty fishing weight though.

Very poor product. Use steel bits instead.
If ypu have lots of patience and cutting oil this drill cone is ok. I ended up using a high quality regular bit to cut a faucet hole in a stainless steel sink (it took seconds to drill a hole), then finished with this graduated bit. While it finished the hole nicely, it was painstakingly slow. In my view, this was not a purchase that was good value for money.
