Was what needed with extended hitch

We need this extension cord to be able to use our trailer, my husband put electrical tape on it and we used it, it worked...but that is not what we expected.....it is the only place I found a four foot seven pin cord,,,..Amazon says I must return the defective cord before they send a replacement.....we can not move the travel trailer with out it.....in the past I have returned items and had a new one before I mailed back the defective item....we are not happy

Works great! Could have used a 2' instead of 4' but it will do.

Not very well made. The cable insulation cut on the female male connector was outside connector seal such that water could leak into the whole fitting. I tried to loosen the clamp screw and push it in, but there was too much wire inside the connector, the root cause. Rather than take it apart and reterminate all of the connections, I wrapped it in silicone tape, which should fix it. Sad to do that with a brand new cable. You get what you pay for.
