Indeed this is an ultimate plywood blade
As an amateur sawdust maker I have come to appreciate wood cutting tools that perform their assigned tasks flawlessly. My SawStop table saw deserves blades and fixtures that meet its potential for accuracy. This blade does that. I purchased this saw blade to rip oak veneer plywood and must say it does the job beautifully. No chips--no splinters! It cuts as fast as I feel like feeding and leaves a glass smooth surface. On oak boards, it leaves the same glass smooth surface on crosscuts. A chart on the blade itself rates it only fair for rip cuts and I have not tried it to see what it does. The angle of the teeth leaves a high, sharp peak in the middle as the cut is made and so this blade is not designed for any application needing a flat bottomed kerf. The blade is quiet and completely vibration-free. This will be my plywood blade and occasional crosscut blade. It is well worth its price.

Top quality blade, as one would expect from Freud
This plywood blade cuts very cleanly in plywood, MDF, and crosscutting hardwoods like hickory and maple. I don't have a lot of hours on it yet but I expect long life based on other Freud blades I'm using.

Great blade
I was hesitant at first because of the price but building a custom built-in cabinet I had to have clean crisp cuts on the ply. I am glad I bit the bullet this blade is absolutely great. It cuts the plywood like butter and they were even cleaner than the factory edge. I have no complaints about this blade. So If you need super clean cuts on cabinet grade plywood. This IS the blade for it. Didn’t use it on melamine so I couldn’t tell ya.

Typical Freud high quality.
I built a bunch of exercise studio units out of veneered plywood. Great clean cuts without any tear out.

Pricy but cuts cleanly
The blade was more than I wanted to spend but it cut clean and smooth, even without taping the boards. One thing I noticed is that if cutting grooves for say a 1/4” slide in slat (two passes since the cut is about 1/8”) the geometry of the blade leaves a ridge in the channel. Not a big deal, just something to be aware of.

Even a chipped tooth doesn't matter.
First off, a tooth came chipped. The self-righteous side of me wanted to immediately return it......but.....I actually needed this blade. I have literally 3 dozen 4x8 sheets of prefinished maple to break down didnt have another couple days to wait for a new one. So against my better judgement I put it on. What happened? Magic! The high ATB design cuts flawlessly with absolutely zero tearout/chipout.....even on double sided prefinished maple. Laser straight, no burn marks, and you'd need a magnifying glass to see any blade marks. I can't attest to how it works on real wood rips, because it's not what I am going to use it for because.......that's not what it's designed to do! I have a Freud Glue Line rip blade for that......which did surprisingly poorly with the prefinished plywood. Hence my need for this blade. So yeah, if you are working with plywood this is the blade you need. If you're working with solid hardwoods or even softwoods you may want to look elsewhere because that isnt the best use of this blade. Don't get me wrong, it's still going to be serviceable..... but when you're willing to drop $100 on a blade you want more than just serviceable.

Very nice for sheet goods
I bought this to cut one of the few nicer plywoods available in my area, an Indonesian birch plywood with a very thin veneer. The blade is well made and cuts very smooth, only using tape to protect the upper surface. I ran 100' through my table saw today and the cut was fine even at the end. Some burning, but that may have been a problem with repositioning and pausing while feeding a large sheet of plywood through the saw. It also did great with hardboard. All this is a vast improvement over my old $20 standard 60 tooth cross cut blade, which requires tape and pre-cutting the veneers.

Unbelievable Cuts
I have several more expensive 80T, H-ATB blades from other manufacturers and for some reason, this one beats them all by a longshot. It sliced through all of my pieces from 20sheets of 3/4" good 2 side melamine...whisper quiet, chip-free razor sharp cuts on both sides, and still cuts like new. So impressed that I'm ordering another one to have as a back up.

Impressive blade
I don't normally work with melamine, however I recently had a project to make some closet shelves out of melamine and purchased this blade. The resulting cuts were flawless - no visible chip-out on the top or the bottom of the panels. After applying edge band on the cut surface the edges looked factory finished. This blade is also excellent for plywood ripping and cross cutting hard wood. It is not intended for non-through cuts as the blade is ATB and dos not produce flat bottomed grooves. I get riled from negative reviews based on defects or improper shipping causing damage to a product or improper application of a product, this does not reflect the quality of the item - one has to know what the intended use is and go from there. I have 6 different Freud blades, each one for a specific use and all run great on a SawStop 3HP professional cabinet saw and produce the desirable results I need. All were purchased through Amazon and none had defects or damage from shipping. And YES, some were slightly less than 10", some slightly over, but that did not impede their performance or make them unusable on my machine.

Sharp like a doctors scalpel
So so sharp. Love it. I've had it for a few years. I don't use it often but when I do it always does a clean job.
