First of all this is my ALL TIME fav organic, cruelty-free mascara...but I usually buy it off their website and have no problems, you even get a little sample of another product. But this time I decided to order it off Amazon because I had a giftcard from returning a book. I feel like the mascara I received is old because it is applying and taking to my lashes like how it does around month 2 or 3 of using this mascara. You can usually get 3 months or so out of this mascara and when you first buy it the application is so smooth and lifts of up your lashes. Mascara people will know what I mean how you can tell the oldness of your mascara by how it is applying to your lashes. So I am a little disappointed that it is not applying like brand new even though the mascara is new to me, but then I tell myself that's what you get for ordering off amazon!*edit. I think this could be a knock off

It's very fat at one end and really skinny at the other which is great for one eye but backwards for the other, plus it is not very good as far as making my lashed darker and fuller especially for the 38.00 price tag. Don't waste your money, some drug store brands are better than this one. I won't be buying it again.

Goes on clumpy and flakes during the day. First time trying this brand so don't know if I received one that was on the dry side or if it really is that bad.

Absolutely WOW! And the "Christmas tree" style brush is great for me. First time I have had that style application brush. This covers well, has not clumped or flaked on me and lasts all day. I dont feel like I need fake lashes anymore and it really enhances you eyes even without liner or shadow

I'm not sure if a brush warrants knocking off one star when I otherwise love the product, but as I have to use another brush each time, it does become very fiddly and annoying. It's shaped like a Christmas tree and the bristles are a bit too stumpy. Otherwise, great mascara.
