Emergency Keychain Car Escape Tool, Teal

This is one of those products I hope I never have to use in a real emergency, but it gives me so much peace of mind knowing it’s there. I was honestly skeptical at first and wondered if it would actually work, so I tested it on pieces of glass and thick materials before trusting it in my car. It easily shattered the glass with the window punch and sliced through seatbelt material without any issues. It’s compact, lightweight, and comes in really cute colors, so it doesn’t look out of place on my keychain. I drive an electric car and have always worried about getting trapped if the doors ever locked up after an accident, so having this makes me feel much safer every time I get behind the wheel. For such an inexpensive tool, the peace of mind alone makes it worth every penny. I highly recommend everyone keep one in their vehicle—you hope you’ll never need it, but you’ll be glad it’s there if you ever do.

I haven’t tested the Resqme tool yet, but it seems very easy to use. It comes with instructions. It’s compact and lightweight, making it easy to carry on a keychain or hang in the car using the included plastic hoop. The build quality feels sturdy, with durable plastic and metal components. While I hope I never have to use it, having it on hand definitely gives me peace of mind in case of an emergency. A great safety tool to have!

Well, I haven’t broken out any car windows so far, thank goodness! So, it is impossible to speak to the effectiveness of the item. I can say it feels sturdy and well made in your hand (with a little weight to it/sturdy plastic), doesn’t feel cheap! I feel safer having it the car. The only Cons would be: No hole to add cord, clip, etc to make it handy inside the car (digging through your glove box or under the seat as you sink to the bottom of a lake is not ideal). I think it would be great to have it hooked on a lanyard or something that could be attached to the front seat headrest and hang down between the front seats enough it could be grabbed by both front/back passengers. It would also be great to have a hole to attach it to your purse (inside or out) for easy access if you need to escape a vehicle for any reason. I’m going to try to drill a hole in mine , and hope I don’t ruin it!! Small price to pay for peace of mind.

Hope never to have to use this but very glad to have it. I Velcroed it to my stick shift so it could be readily available to either passenger in an emergency. It does not get in the way but is within easy reach and it is a cute color so that’s fun. I have practiced pulling the blade and window break part from the holder and putting it back on and it comes off and slides back in with no issues and stays on. I’ve also practiced discharging the piercer a few times and resetting it and it also works. I did it against a wood board since I had no glass to break. I wanted to make sure that it was functioning if I ever needed it.

I watched one too many lifetime TV shows about crazy accidents and ordered this on a whim. But I am very happy with what I received. It is sturdy enough that it would cut through a seatbelt if need and I trust it to break open a window in the event of the need to escape. I’m keeping one in my car and I’m giving one to everyone in my family for Christmas.

I keep mine on my keychain so if there was an emergency where I was submerged and I needed to use it I would know where it was because I know I’d panic and never find it otherwise. I think everyone should have one or something like it because life is strange and you don’t know When something crazy like being in an accident, whether your fault or someone else’s, could cause you to be in a predicament where you were trapped in your car in water. To be able to easily break your window and cut your seatbelt if it was stuck could definitely save your life, even if you were injured as long as you have a working arm, you can use it to get yourself out. I don’t plan on ever using mine and I hope the other buyers don’t need to either but it’s good to know it’s there. It’s worth the peace of mind and if you love someone, you should get one for them too.

This is the perfect size to just have in the car. It's easy to use. I hope I never need it, but if I do I am confident I would be able to easy cut the seatbelt and/or break the window. Great device

I was looking for small, useful gifts and my police officer husband suggested these. In the "little gift" category, this seemed to be the most-liked. These come with a smallish split ring and a thin plastic cable tie, and in a wide variety of colors. You can buy accessories to attach the resqme to various places in your car but I'll probably make do with what it came with and things I have around the house. I tried to show just how small these are, but the photo makes it look bigger than it is. It's also incredibly lightweight. I hope no one needs this tiny tool, but think it's great to have. Just on case.

ロゴ無しの類似品の良し悪しは知りません。 キレイな色なので買いました。恐らく一生使わないでしょう、という前提で、持っていたらの場面を考えると安心のブランド品しかないなあ。 ブランド品も類似品も、破壊力と切断力を数値表示して欲しいね。買わなければわからないなんて非道だよね。

Seems very well built and reliable, definitely useful to keep hold of. Have not yet used it, but is useful for car keys. Bonus is, as it’s bright I never lose my keys in my bag any more!

L'objet qu'on se réjouit de n'avoir jamais à utiliser! Découvert lors de recherches pour une lampe de poche à laisser dans la voiture, j'ai été convaincue par les nombreux commentaires élogieux! Il est pratique, à porter à un porte-clef ou au rétroviseur, d'une belle finition et dans une couleur très sympa! A mon avis, utilisable par un enfant de 12 ans. Selon moi, il est impossible de se faire mal avec par mégarde car il faut quand même tirer un peu fort pour sortir la lame ou utiliser le poinçon (testé avec succès sur un carton très épais!) Super idée de petit cadeau - par exemple pour une "cacahuète" de Noel! De coup, ça vaut la peine, pour le prix de l'avoir toujours sur soi!
