Good bang for your buck. The belt is pretty and def fits the renn faire aesthetic. But it is pretty hard to maneuver. The pouch does not stay closed so I recommend snapping it around the belt and then supergluing the snap to keep it around the belt. There’s no hope for the pouch snap though. I tied the waxed strings around the belt. Which was visually cool, but there was no securing anything I put in it. Fit was fine, wouldn’t say very durable although it held up to walk around a faire. Could def use in different costumes where texture and detail is needed.

It's a little stiff, but I love that it actually fits! And it looks fantastic! I'm 5'4" 220lbs so it's perfect for plus size girlies!

It fit what I needed for the renfaire and it was nice quality (didn’t feel like it would fall off of me and didn’t get funky after 8 hours).

The decorative work looks great and the materials seem good, but it needs two rings at the end in order to actually hold the belt up. It comes undone and slowly slips down your hips – especially if you put anything in the bag to add any weight at all. I ended up having to use a safety pin to keep the belt in place. It was a very imperfect solution as the belt still tended to sag. And because the back of the belt is unfinished, and the end is so long, you can't really let it hang down at all. After looping it around itself I tucked the end back through those loops, so that seemed to deal with that... perhaps that is what is supposed to keep the belt in place but that doesn't work at all. Without a pin the belt just gets looser til it falls around your knees. If there were two rings it would be more effective at keeping the belt in place.

It was just what I wanted! Fit great, pouch held my keys and money Looks nice with my ren faire garb.

Overall the item is good enough for maybe a few ren fests and it also looks nice, but I wouldn’t really trust the quality, the leather is thin and the button for the pouch doesn’t hold well. I wrapped the part that tightens the strings around to make it more secure.

I bought this for my Viking costume and it worked great! I actually use the bag to hold my phone and my little wallet. It doesn’t close completely if you have a larger phone but I did what I needed it to do for the day. The belt is really long, but you can cut it if you need to
