Victorinox Scales for 91mm Swiss Army Knife - Genuine Swiss handles

Amazing, finally available in UK, its not easy to get replacement scales here.Was surprisingly easy to fit, I just watched couple videos online how to do it and its much easier than I expected.You just need to remove toothpick, tweezers and keyring first, then you need to use a small screwdriver to lift the old scales through the holes from toothpick and tweezers, when lifting them they just pop out, its that easy.Since I don't have a soft grip / padded vice, I had to use a hammer to fit the new scales on, so I placed the scales on the rivets and pushed them by hand as hard as I could, then I placed the knife between old magazines to soften the hammer impact and tried to hit it not too hard straight on the rivet points.It all took me just around 10minutes and managed to that without damaging or scratching the new scales at all, but still a padded vice may is a better idea.Do watch a video or two for guidance the 1st time you do this, just search for "replacing scales on victorinox"I had my old beaten up Hiker in red and as it only comes in red and I wanted it in translucent blue I had to replace them myself and its way cheaper than buying a new knife anyway.I am very happy I found these replacement scales available here on amazon, they are very hard to get so I will better stock myself with other colors too.My uploaded picture shows my old Hiker with the new scales

Was sceptical and weary in getting these, as my knife is a very old model, but it fits perfectly on my 27 year-old Spartan that had cracked and loose scales due to constant use.I liked it so much that I bough a length of 550 paracord, mini screwdriver, toothpick and tweezers to update my tired old knife. Also chose the clear red scales just to give it a bit more of an updated look, and they fit on the knife very tightly and securely. It now has a new lease on life!Proof that Vitorinox still makes 'em like they used to, literally!

Fits perfectly on my swiss army champ knife that I've owned since 1988. Doesn't have the pen slot, but does have the pin slot which mine didn't originally have. You also have the tooth pick and tweezer slot too. It was easy to pry off what was left of the old scales, and I had to put the knife in a vice protected by a cloth to press the new ones on.

Bought this after Amazon sent the wrong colour knife. I’ve had a few replacement scales from victorinox who guarantee is excellent in the past and these were nothing like that. Placed in warm water as per previous victorinox scales for an easier fit and they went soft and misshapen, never had this happen before. Eventually got them to fit and a few days later the victorinox emblem fell off. The fit was wrong and did not slot into place at all.Terrible quality and not worth the money. Ruined a decent knife.

I damaged my old scales with super glue and decided to replace them. After watching some YT video it was easy and I am very pleased with the result.

These are as precisely made as the knives themselves. Particularly like the 'silvertech' model as it has an interesting & detailed '3-D' look. Used a small vise to fit which required more time, care and effort than I anticipated but the end result is perfect: the scales fit extremely closely and look very good. The dark red scales were OK but these better reflect the quality of the knife. Recommended.

Arrived quickly.These have transformed my tired and battered Victorinox Climber.Easily removed the old scales, these new ones proved a little tricky to get on but a bit of perseverance and managed to get them on and flush with the metal body using just thumb pressure.Only slight disappointment with the camo ones is that the Victorinox emblem is printed on and not inlaid metal. I'm guessing so that it is non reflective(?)

Perfect, renewed my 35 year old camping model penknife, went with the translucent blue and added new accessories like tweezers, toothpick, corkscrew screwdriver and orange lanyard, it's like a new knife and not too difficult to fit the scales
