Q: will this fit in a 2015 toyota yaris?

Not being familiar with the Yaris. I would say no. It being a 4 cylinder. I think it would be over kill for a small engine even if it would bolt to the water pump. I put this fan on a 350 cubic inch Chevy. Good luck.

Q: Anyone know if a spacer is needed for a SBC with a shroud?

OK so you need to know how close it is to your radiator and you may need to push the fan forward. I think you can have one to 1 1/2 inches away from the radiator. If your fan is too far into the shroud, it won’t work.

Q: What is the minimum clearance between radiator and front edge of fan? Does this fan flex towards radiator with increased rpm?

The Allstar Performance ALL30097 mechanical fan measures 1 1/4 in. from the front of the blades to the rear of the mounting hub. The 4-bolt pattern has a 2 3/4 in. maximum distance on center and has a 27 degree pitch fan blades. The pilot hole measures 5/8 in.
