My go-to perfume this summer!
This smells sooooo good! Reminds me of a sunny day by the beach, enjoying the warm sunshine, favorite drink in hand, at a tropical paradise with flowers blooming and salty air all around you. I usually am not a fan of coconut smells, but this one just has a hint of that with lovely florals and sweet sugar/musk. I’m in love!

So Good Someone Smelled It Through Cigar Smoke
This is one of my absolute favorite scents. I just ordered my fourth bottle, which should tell you everything. I once wore it to a cigar bar, and someone actually stopped me to ask what I was wearing. They said they could smell it through the cigar smoke, which says a lot about how beautifully it carries. I love pairing it with my Saltair Santal Bloom body oil, and the combination is amazing. The best way I can describe the fragrance is an “island baby powder” vibe that is soft, warm, clean, and a little tropical. It’s long-lasting, unique, and the quality for the price is incredible. Definitely a staple in my collection.

Worth the wait to develop
Give this time to blend and mature. It will be worth the wait. I was not crazy about the scent at first and let it sit in the back of my closet in its original box, where it is cool and dark. It's been in there for two weeks, and it already is 95% better. I have done this with many other Middle Eastern scents, but this one is one of the BIGGEST for the better differences I have ever experienced. Giving it another 1 to 2 weeks and I think it will be ready for wear. I highly recommend for Spring, Summer and early Fall. Clean musk, slight citrus fruit in an elegant feminine way with that touch of sugar cane in the dry down that makes it a classy sweet end.

smells like soap :(
The smell was the first thing that was disappointing. When you first spray it in the air, the smell gives what it’s supposed to, but as soon as it dries down it smells like soap. that and powder notes are the only things you can smell. I was so disappointed, i was expecting fresh coconut with fruit notes but after a few minutes it’s just a clean (soap) smell. The soap smell is also subtle, I had to put my wrist up to my nose to be able to smell it after two hours but i’m not sure if it’ll be different on clothes. I tried it a few times just to be sure and even checked with other people, my family didn’t like it either. Regifted it the first chance i got since it’s not returnable. (If y’all want a nice fresh fruity but not overly sweet perfume try Mayar by Lattafa, similar price point but it’s good n i’ve finished a whole bottle, packaging is soo cute too) Pros: There’s a ton of perfume in the bottle It’s a nice heavy bottle, good quality Cons: Box arrived damaged in the inside, the bottle wasn’t held in place but the bottle was fine, box was not (can’t tell from the outside) The leather isn’t fitted to the bottle so it wrinkles on the sides a bit, not a big deal just messes a tiiiny bit with the aesthetics

A clean, calm, beach and coconut scent
Ard Al Zaafaran Turab Al Dhahab Eau De Parfum is not the average coconut. If you are someone who dislikes the standard tiare type scents that smell great in the bottle but turn into a sickly sweet scent on your body, this might be for you. It's not a B&BW coconut. It's softer, more sophisticated and hints at the beach and coconut in a dreamy rather than overt way. Some reviews say it smells like soap. I would say it has a clean undertone that relates to such scent memories. There are no competing notes here, they enhance each other gently. IMHO, an analogy for this fragrance is a honeymoon along the Almalfi Coast or French Riviera rather than in the Caribbean or Pacific Islands. All are wonderful destinations but the ambiance is different. This perfume has understated depth.
